I was at Target today and saw some weird figures called Fearless Forces. They are very cheap. Might be good for custom fodder.

I saw them too. They looked like they belonged in a dollar store, not Target.

ROC repackaging..
 

Went to Target today and found a repackaged EEL/Wavecrusher. The EEL was replaced with the Purple AVAC pilot and snakeeyes head for the EELs helmet. This is the first ive seen here for ROC repackaging.. Looks like the EEL is going to be in high demand...

They are pricy, but compared to some of the e-bay prices for the BBI F-16 its well worth it!! Imagine the dio shots for the joes with that huge bird!!

Toys R Us has the Forces of Valor 1:18 figures, they're called "Assault Force". They've also got some vehicles, I sw a LAV in woodland camo and a Sherman.

Saw the re-paint of the F-22 at TRU. Light grey w dark grey camo!! Not bad. Will make a great pair of Joe raptors!!

Just started to notice something within the past few days. Several sites, including Walmart, seems to be referring to Resolute as "Omega Force". Any idea if this is an official name change?

TRU has a new True Heroes vehicle: Steel Badger. It looks good in the box, although no idea how many troops it can hold. I've been thinking of buying this all week. Might make a good transport for Cobra or Joe.

The newest wave of figures has hit the west coast. I picked up a night adder, kamakura and another paraviper at TRU!!

Big Lots has a bunch of these.. "World Peacekeeper" vehicles: hummers (desert and woodland camo), hummer type truck, seal boat, helicopter, dune buggy type vehicle, calvary, etc. Prices are about $3 to $15. There's also some sort of lookout tower set too. Now you too can be a millionaire.

Is there any ONE source where you can find what all Hasbro is coming out with? I mean, I'm decently in the loop with the regular figures, but everytime I walk into a store, I see "EXCLUSIVES" I have never heard about until then! I got a 3 pack from TRU I STILL have yet to see anywhere mentioned on the Net! And Kmart had the desert outfit Duke/HD/MARS Trooper/Neo Viiper. And now, I JUST saw on Ebay this guy "Bench Press"!?!? What's HIS story? And I guess he comes in a 2 pack with Snow Serpent (IF not, every scalper on ebay found them one for one! LOL!)

The Target here has all Star Trek stuff on clearance. The Transporer playset for $7, the Bridge playset for $6. Figures for $2.

Funny, the previous press release was that Hasbro's earning were up, with GI JOE part of the reason.

Now? Prices drops on ROC figures by two major retailers (a seasonal move or something else?), vehicle wave cancelled, a foreign market's fate uncertain.

Of course, $16 for those little vehicles stinks (with maybe the exception of the Firebat redeco). GI JOE isn't Star Wars, which is overpriced. It's not even Transformers. Hasbro tried to use the movie to milk their own property for more money.

Releasing the polar shark in the first wave, which was in the movie, might've been smarter than say, stuff that was not in the movie.

Hrm.. well, what are the sales like in the UK? Are lots of figures hanging on the pegs still? I wonder about this since it seems prices are a bit high over there.

I think the price drop by Target and Walmart is due to the season, trying to move out peg warmers to make room for the new wave.

Try 20-25$ in Canada for those guys.

Yeah, I must admit, I was thinking the same thing. Most of the Walmarts around have like 400 figures on the sales floor, but almost all are Cobra Commanders, Dukes, Scarletts and RipCords from Waves (or collections or whatever ) 1 & 2. I think they over estimated what people would buy with the initial waves. Got a feeling we will be seeing these for years to come at Marshall's, Ross and Big Lots, like we did with a lot of the JvsC Era stuff! I still find JvsC figure packs at Big Lots from time to time!
