Yeah, I'm sure Larry Hama would be a little offended by what he says at the end.
I get worried when actors talk about roles just being "fun" when they're action & comicbook style movies. If they're not taking the role seriously it can really come across to the audience and ruin the movie -- prime example being Batman & Robin, where the cast in interviews was always saying how their role was just fun and playing with the costumes and gadgets and stuff... And seeing him interviewed here, even with his beard-attempt, still has me thinking Gordon-Levitt is WAY to young to be CC. |
yeah it really seems like he has no respect for the film or the property at all, kinda sad really, well heres hoping that they replace him in the sequels :D

lol, exactly what i was thinking. i really hate it when they change the people who play the characters, bu tin this case almost everyone of them need to be changed.

the rock may be shipwreck and fraser will be gung ho. im thinking fraser is to small for a gung ho, whats your thought? here is the link.

I'm hoping that's wrong. Or at the very least they got it mixed up, as Brendan Fraser as Shipwreck and the Rock as Gung-Ho makes more sense IMO.
|
Fraser being Gung-Ho...come on, you got to be kidding!!!
Well, at least what El Mayimbe says about "Gung-Ho being the most Village people-ish of the joes" is true if Fraser indeed has the part...still hoping they mixed it though... But wouldnt Stone Cold Steve Austin be the most logical choice to play Gung-Ho, especially if its a one scene cameo, I mean the size, attitude, and the looks....just grow a moustache and learn cajun... Seen ever the movie The Condemned? It has Gung-ho written all over Stone Cold...Ex marine, no nonsense attitude... |
i have herd others say that stone cold should be gung ho. to be honest i never even thought of him, but he would fit the part.
isnt it bad that we waited 25 years for a movie and now that we get one it will not be worth watching because the stupid casting people dont know anything about G.I. Joe. Lucas does it best, use no names or little known actors. that way there is no preconceived notion toward them. |
over on hisstank there is talk about the figure once stated as mask and now stated as being specialist trakker being none other then matt trakker of M.A.S.K. i still dont believe this to be the case, but i honestly hope it is. i wouldnt mind seeing more toy lines make special appearances in the joe line.
|
dont know if anyone has saw the specialist trekker on the hall of fame vote. i thought this to be tracker, you know who i mean. then over on hisstank everyone started talking about it being the guy from M.A.S.K. i, myself didnt believe this but everyone there went on and on about it being him. well they are right and here is proof from TNI.
In a recent ONLINE POLL run by Hasbro, a mysterious figure named `Specialist Trakker’ showed up in a list of upcoming G.I.Joe figures, causing people to question if this guy had any connection with the classic 80's M.A.S.K. line from Kenner. So we went to Hasbro's G.I.Joe Brand Manager Neal Hoffman and asked. Here is what he said: "I can confirm for you that Matt Trakker will be a tribute to the 80's M.A.S.K. line. Just a single figure cross-over; shout out to the 80's." |
