ive tried everything, even tried to post old pics i have done before. something is up, because there hasn't been any new pics since early this morning (est zone)

yeah i got in here at about 12PM and there wasn't any new pics then about an hour or 2 later i checked in again and still no new pics

On the front page, when I click on "Latest Reviews" heading it takes me to the Photos Gallery section instead

Actually, I think it's just you........I just did a check on it in the Admin section and it's working fine. You click on 'Reviews' and then 'Latest Reviews' and it brings up the latest photos in the Review section...........

Hmm.....now I went and tried it again and it did take me to the 'photos' section..... :confused:


I'll have to do some research into this when I get home..........

Newbie needs some advice
 

Working on my first dio building. It is coming along okay, I wasn't expecting much. I was wondering if someone could give me advice on where to go on the internet or store to get things to spruce up the interior, i.e. pictures for computer screen and/or wall monitors; decals or stickers for doors and/or walls; etc. Looking for Cobra themed stuff. Any help would be appreciated. Love checking in every day and looking at the awesome work.

Check the Files section here for some nice wall, door and floor patterns you can print off yourself. Lots of goodies in the Files section that I'm sure will help you out.

Ok this might sound really lame, but more often than not i've seen people repaint girls furniture from playsets, usually things like tv's and stuff. It would come in handy if your furnishing a cobra recreation room for the vipers on downtime.

Anything from sizeable doll house furniture to girls playsets have been used in the past, as long as the neon pink is repainted who's to know :o

From memory (it's been a while!) you should receive more space each time you move up a level, that is to Senior member, and then Veteran.

You do get more space -so don't worry, just keep posting ;)

Indeed -- go through the archives and leave a bunch of comments, you should be sorted.

I gained my Veteran statis at 100 posts. So, it appears you don't have far to go :)

Oh, is that how it works??? lol I did not know that.

If you are using foamboard for walls, you can just draw lines to give them that segmented look. Depends on what the use is for. Like, if you wanted a stark white Cloud City (Empire Strikes Back), you can draw the lines with a marker. That's the old Luke Ellison technique too.

I've painted the foamboard a drab gray and added the lines too for a more metallic look. *shrug*

I knew about the post count thing to get to different levels AND I remember a few years ago when guys like TG ran out of space. Hammerfel created an unlimited storage size for people but I thought that was for EVERYONE off the bat.

When in doubt, resize? *shrug*

I'll admit that I initially just blindly read your post.......and then reading what the others had said made me just 'go with it'......

But What Graham just stated, got me to thinking......what exactly is your problem with posting??

If it's the whole 'won't fit' thing, then yes.......you need to resize your photo to 2.0

As for 'running out of room'.......the limit is endless....so I don't see what the problem might be.
