What's the difference?

Hey man.. what's the difference between photoshop and photoshop elements? Please don't nobody respond with $549.00 :p |
I actually had PS Elements, a few years back, it must have been the first version. It was very hard to use. I started using Photo Explosion which is a very basic editing tool. I want to be able to add things to my photos. Like aircraft in the sky & muzzle flashes to guns, smoke & tire & tank track movement.

Dave,
Look for an older version of Photoshop on Ebay. I used to use Photoshop 6 & 7, and they are going cheap on ebay last I looked! But I got in a bad habit of using PaintShop Pro. PaintShop Pro costs around $100 and is available at Fry's on the west coast and Best Buy. There is NOTHING I could do with Photoshop that I can't do with PaintShop Pro. |

I was looking a PaintShop Pro X2 at Target tonight for $79.99, it looks pretty good. |
Ahem. I have PS 6 & 7 but I find I use my crappy old Arcsoft PhotoStudio more since I know how to use it. I DO switch between programs to get what I want. Actually, about 3 programs really. You can imagine how fun that is! Alt+Tab, Alt+Tab, Alt+Tab...
|
So...
So in conclusion I take it ALT + Tab is the preferred method for switching windows then? :o
|
Like you Rich, I have multipe things open so it's faster to do it that way than use the mouse. I like to work fast so...

Paintshop Pro / Photoshop Elements
Photoshop Elements and Paintshop Pro.. are these watered down versions of the $600 software packages then?
|
Paint Shop Pro X2 is what I think I will get. It looks pretty good - CHECK IT OUT. What do you think?
|
Looks good.
