They sometimes have description put up with the initial post, but apparently not for a while.
Weekend Warriors is simplest to explain. Basically, a theme is given -- be it a basic scenario or, more often, just a title -- and it's up to members to interpret that in photo-form however they wish. It's an interesting way to see how the same basic starting point can spark different people's creativity in different ways. Participating pictures are posted Fri-Mon (hence the name) and are titled "Weekend Warriors: [that weekend's theme-title]"
Target Range is a monthly project where members snag a day (Tues or Thurs) and when their turn comes, they post up 2 shots each spotlighting a certain figure, one good guy and one bad guy. Pictures are titled (and tagged) "Target Range," with the character and version/year of release if appropriate. When the shots are posted, members post their thoughts on the character, the figure, the specifics of that VERSION of the character, etc. It's less about the poster's photo (although criticisms or compliments are always welcome) and more about the subject. Part of the reason for including "Target Range" in the title and tags is so it's easier to search and see if anyone's already done that particular figure -- there have been so many made, there's plenty who've never been done yet! And the "Target Range" name basically means the figure is the target and we all get to fire out our opinions on it (quite possibly blasting it to pieces if it's someone like Ice Cream Soldier...)!
