And the news is....not good.
Well, after having all the tests done last week, I saw the specialist today, and the results are not good. The cancer has spread to my liver and possibly one lung, and is also encroaching on my kidneys. The tumor on the pelvic wall is apparently very large and inoperable at this stage. He told me it doesn't look very good at this point, and that unless they can remove everything surgically, which is not possible right now, then they will attempt to give me as long as they can at as good a quality of life as they can. My immediate future is to see another couple of specialists next week to decide if radiation treatment or chemotherapy will be any help. My wife and I were obviously hoping for better news, but we just have to play with the cards we've been dealt.

Damn, Craig, that's harsh. You're in my prayers. Take care of yourself and get second (and third, fourth, etc) opinions for this. We're here for ya if we can help!

I hope things will turn around for you. Hang in there. Best of luck.
