That's impressive. I'm sure they had a great time building it.

  WOW!
And all that is Joe scale?!
And they built that from a true farm they lived in?
Man, that is truly awesome.
That's a labour of love there, dude.

That is a great set. If it is the right size, it could house some pretty cool scenes!

Thanks guys!
Yeah GoCards - they did have a lot of good "father-daughter" fun times building it :)
Well, the scale isn't quite Joe. They built it so 1 "real" inch would = 12 "model" inches (or obviously 1 foot), wheras Joe stuff is I think 1 "real" inch = 18 "model" inches (or 1 1/2 feet).
So this is 1:1 scale I guess and Joe is 1:18 scale, but if you shoot it from the right angle in certain parts of the farm it can pass for okay. It would probably work better with the new, O-ringless Joes, since they are about 1/4 inch taller than the true 3 3/4 Joes we grew up with, so the difference in scale wouldn't be AS obvious with them.
It was a labor of love for them - thank you all for the compliments!!

Here is a digital photo OF a 35mm photo that I lit & took back in 1997 or so of the inside of the barn by the stalls:

My idea back then was to try to depict the early-morning sun shining through the windows on the horse's face, etc.
