Greetings!
As i get near to finishing the first chapters of my diostory, I'm looking around for sites that can host the pics/story. What features should I look for in a site? How best to display my images? All down one page? 5 on a page? Slideshow?

Not to toot my own horn, but I like my method of having super long pages with a scene a page, and asking the user to click to advance between the images. Saves scrolling, and I don't like to see a new frame from the top first, like in traditional dio set ups. I prefer to click and instantly get the full image all at once. If you haven't yet, take a look at my dio link in my sig. I use anchor tags in the HTML.

I highly recommend Synthasite. Hosts TONS of pictures and very detailed tutorial.

What I am looking for is a system that enables me to easily select which images I want to put into a dio without much fuss. The end user should be able to see my dio as a slide show: one view area with the next/back buttons tucked away, and a transition between images. I don't want to do scrolling. And really want it so that the end user can alter the page's background for his/her viewing pleasure.
Any ideas?

I guess because of the lack of response that there isn't a place like what I am looking for. A few additional requirements have come to mind, though.

I am looking for something similar. I was thinking of Using my Comic book creator program since then I would have a page worth of stuff as one jpg or PDF at a time to post on each web page. Any help is appreciated. I want to be able to Create something like Violentfx did back in the day.

I've been thinking of using blogspot, Googles service.
The price is right (free), storage is pretty high (and well links it/creates a picassa account), fairly easy editing/interface, allows for direct comments (suggest turning on moderation, gets you onto Google's search engine/exposes you (I have 12 followers of just my customs blog and I only "know" 3 of them), I have familiarity.
Drawbacks include: must scroll/all pics for a chapter/section must load, spam bots can comment if no moderation, policy changes could kill you.

And Google Blogger just added a pages feature. You can create upto 10 pages per blog. So if you wanted to chapters/episode type you would have to divided it up at most into 10 parts.

Actually I really don't like slide shows. Especially the Flickr kind are hard to view. Some even are set up so that it automatically advances. Those are annoying too since sometimes I wasn't even done reading the page!
Anything that uses Flash gets on my nerves too.
I use Yola.com I think they are the same as Synthasite. It is really easy to use.
