Desided to change some things up at the old homestead. Anyway got alot of changes added a top graphic and buttons to the important stuff. Also added a background to break up the whole black emtiness feeling. Just starting but wondered what people might think.

LMK what you think so far.
PS I am sure somewhere there is a broken link or two so just alert me if you find one. I tried to check them all but you know how that goes.

Nicely designed. I like how the panels scroll independent of the background. The buttons are nicely designed too.
Have you thought of making the background image more faded or more subtle? At times it's a little distracting from the main story panels. The chapter title also needs to stand out a bit more from the background. It's difficult to see since it is plain text. Just my thoughts. Also, at the bottom of the story on the first page, the "next" button is not working. Is there anymore to this story or is that one of the non-working links you mentioned?
I know what you mean about checking every link...headache!

Planning on making a graphic for the chap title. Just not done it yet, forgot to mention that.
I can play with the background a bit. I was afraid of distraction though.
Next button is for the next update, something else I forgot to add (Coming soon or something to indicate that). Thought it would be obvious, which is what happens when you work on something too long.
THanks. I'll fix that later today.

I have to double check, but I think moto's stuff is down for good. I had heard that from somewhere and knew it worked before.

A free monkey to every 10000th visitor.
Otherwise, I can navigate fairly intuitively which is the problem with most sites...they make navigation totally random so it only makes sense to the designer.
