Target Clearance

I was out of town for work and ended up stopping at Target. They had the then and now battle bear/rockslide Snow Job combo on clearance for $12.48 and they had their exclusive ROC 4 pack with SE, Duke and the two Cobra soldiers on clearance for $4.98.

Are those typical clearance, or really good prices? (The Target is well out of my way about 45-50 miles North.)

Yeah, I picked up the 4 pack also for the parts. Already had the then and now (which a few days ago was 17.50). Seems a little crazy, target and wal-mart both just got in their exclusives a few weeks before Christmas and then turn around and clearance them. The wal-mart battle stations and the two packs were half off in the few places they were found. Also, the deluxe packs at target (the ones with the eel and sled, or the SNAKE armor, etc) were 6.50 but not on the price tag, you had to scan them in to see. I saw this posted and tried it myself, happened around here too. Here's the big news, tj maxx and marshalls is getting a bunch of 25th stuff in at great prices: vehicles at 12.99, comic packs (I got both resolutes and the gung-ho with cc) 6.99, and single carded figures for 3.99 (bats, para viper, tf duke, mutt, wraith, croc master).

I've only seen the Duke/SE/Blue Neos marked down. The basics were down to 5.98 but still nothing beyond the Helix wave, and that was it.

At least Wal-Mart is still $5 and has the initial POC figures.

Fred Meyer is running the same $5 deal. but they don't have anything worth picking up.

They've got such an influx of product that they're trying to cycle it out to make room for the spring stuff........

You guys are lucky, my Target is only selling the 4-pack for $13.98 and the PnP isn't even on sale yet.....

And Walmart hasn't seen the PoC line :(

They had several of those Target 4 packs, they got down to around $10...then disappeared over the weekend as stuff hit 75%. Happens a lot, actually. I probably would've gotten one for $5.

I just came back from a Target and some figures were comming up on the price checker as
$5.99 (the Joes) and some as $3.49 (the Cobras)

I was on the way to a meeting, but I stopped briefly for another reason and happened to buzz through the toy section... This Target is on the outskirts of a little city, so maybe not a lot of people have seen it. I guess I should have picked some up...That averages to $1.25 per figure... But I wasn't really looking for these. Is the SE the one with the same body as the City Strike version? Bummer, I really should have bought some...

Maybe you mean the City Strike ones?
My Targets sold out of those 4 packs the same day they went to $5. I was hoping to get some more for fodder. The P&P is still full price here. :(
Deluxe vehicles are on "secret" sale for $6.49. Just take it to a scanner to check.

Sure, whatever they're called, all the same to me since I'm basically done with GI Joe on the purchasing side unless something really major comes down the pipe.

Picked up the storm shadow on cycle and wet suit on craft for 6.49 each. They were not marked on the shelf as such... Same thing at other Targets... They had snake armors and cobra jet packs and the grand slam glider, also. TJ maxx had 25th stuff, wraith, tf duke, bazooka trooper, mutt (3.99 each), and comic packs for 6.99: ninja apprentice snake eyes, both resolute packs, and viper/iron grenadier packs. Wal-mart had the Marvel two pack exclusives with the giants (goliath and skrull) for 10 each! I wanted them, but... showed restraint. For once.

I think that means Past and Present..which was the exclusive for Target with the polar battle bear snowmobile (past) and the rockslide (present). It also had old and new versions of Snow Job.
