Not sure if this is legal or what, but these comics are simply the best ever in my opinion. The WWII Cobra imagery in particular is just too sweet to pass up The load times are very slow, so be warned. The good stuff starts with the issue labeled #201.

I read that over the weekend. Pretty neat story, but besides snake eyes all the other joes looked the same or had no personality. That was my only gripe. Still very cool though. I would totally read a g.i. joe wwII comic, I think the idea is really cool.

I read this series when it first came out. The story wasn't bad, though I'm not really a big fan of the alternate timeline re-imaginings of the Transformers. I did not enjoy the artwork, though. Jae Lee is a great artist, when he actually chooses to draw things -- but the problem is, for his entire career, he's drawn nearly everything in shadow! It's very annoying.

for me, the absence of light is just as important as what you can see. (just look at my pictures lol) I am really digging the use of shadow and darkness in the comics. I read some of them when they came out, but not the whole series. I am a big fan of alternate timelines and "what if" storylines and especially when it deals with WWII.
