I'm out on the web, looking for something totally unrelated when I find this;
http://uncyclopedia.wikia.com/wiki/GI_JOE
This thing really ticked me off. What do you guys think?

Nice sabotage! :)

i dunno, you can't take it so seriously because of the typos and grammatical errors. Take it for a joke, because thats what it is.

I agree with Think Tank.. it's a joke of an article written by someone who had a basic grasp of GIJOE.. and obviously wasnt invited to play with the dolls in the 60s :o
full of grammatical errors and one sided thinking.. ah well the net was made for good uses but nobody ever said it had to stay that way.. what can I say man.. people will be a$$holes.

You are too thin skinned.
Someone who spends so much time and effort writing about how GI Joe is gay is probably channeling some wishfull thinking.

I agree... I didn't even crack a smile... in fact I now feel that 10 minutes of my life have been wasted, just like when I watched "Babylon AD", only that was about 2 hours wasted.

Ugh... I've seen better insults, don't fret about it man.

You know I try to be very respectful and considerate of everyone. When I insult someone it is usually based either on a long standing issue or a total misunderstanding. The author of this site (http://uncyclopedia.wikia.com/wiki/GI_JOE) just seems to scream of someone who never got invited to play with anyone and decided to unleash his venom on something that he envied. I pity this guy but man it really steamed me this morning to read so much crap from someone who obviously had very little idea about the subject and no respect for anyone elses interests. :(

It's just one of those jockoid dudes who thought that they were cooler than everyone else. BUT it's funny too. The best thing is, anyone can add, fix, OR screw up a wikipedia page. And that's all this guy did. They took everything down from what the original GI Joe page had and made it all goofy like.

Unfunny stuff like that is best left ignored. It's written by the type of person who lives just to get a rise out of people. Deciding to let it slide upsets them more than criticizing it.

Actually, I find it pretty funny. Kinda like I found the "Forsake the Troops" site funny. More rantings by this generation of brain dead Starbucks drinking, Xbox playing silver spoon fed slackers who watch too much Jackass and Robot Chicken and take assholes like Tucker Max and Maddox seriously. They like watching reality TV not knowing that it is NOT Reality. Easy to talk about crap when all you know about it is your pre formed opinions.

I just laugh...not at the article, but at the idiot who wrote it....and he thinks he's funny....

A waste of time to read.

Hey, I get a kick out of MADDOX!
other than that I agree, it was a very sad attempt at being funny. It just reminded me of the guy who tried so hard, at the party, to impress the chicks with his witt, but always ended up being the one going home alone! Somehow I feel this is him all grown up.

Yeah, that's really becoming my take on the author. When I first read this thing, I was royally ticked just because of the nature of the thing. I grew up with the 3-3/4 line and if for no other reason loved it for all the nostalgia that they bring to me. I've got memories about the toys, mags, cartoon etc. that I'm sure we all share and to see this piece of junk (not my first choice of word) just felt like I'd been slapped by some "Mr. Popular" wannabe loser who could barely string two words together. I appreciate everyone's opinions about this thing. Thanks for responding.
