So this month I have been packing and getting ready to move, and I am moving into the new house on Saturday. We will have much more room for our daughter and with the extra space, I finally get to have a Joe Room. Sure, it is in the basement, but it is very large with lots of potential. So, after Christmas when I get settled in, I am going to be unpacking and situating the Joe room and taking pics of the new things I have acquired that have sadly been sitting in boxes since I purchased them. Also, any input for displaying will be appreciated.

Congratulations! You and the family must be very excited. I'm not sure of the shape or space of your new room, but I suggest buying brackets and white solid shelving. You can display much more with solid shelving than with the new lighter wire shelving.
Good luck, and pack your stuff well. My Dragonfly rotor snapped off in my last move. I was able to reattach it with glue, but the days of spinning that round and around are over. (Live and learn...)

Well done man, I hope the move goes smoothly. I'm soooo jealous, I would kill for a Joe room!! :)

Congrats on the new house & good luck with the move. My Joe room doubles as my office for my business. I display my figs in display cabinets, with glass doors, but that route can be pricey. I used to use track shelves, they are great if you don't mind dusting your figs. If I ever buy a house I plan on making one giant diorama, something on the scale of a model train room, big enough to display all of my Joes & vehicles.

Most excellent for you, may you use it well. One day I shall have a Joe room, I'm just getting mine set up here, but found out I am posted in the next 18 months, and will have to put most of my Joes in storage for 3 years, aghh!

Everything is moved into the new place, with only a couple minor mishaps (my brother broke my entertainment center, but I needed a new one anyway, so now procrastination ends). Still unpacking, the master bedroom, the bedroom for my daughter, the kitchen, 2 upstairs bathrooms, and living room are complete. I still need to hook up the washing machine and dryer and move some other things in the basement before I can even think about unpacking my joes. That will probably occur tomorrow and Thursday. I will post some before and after pics as the joe room progresses.
Thanks for the input and the well wishes.
