First off, a big thanks to Michael Ritchie, Global Brand Marketing Director, G.I. Joe. We know that some things cannot be answered, but I for one am happy to get what insight we can. we never got this as a kid. And now the answers.

1) Will we be getting many more updated figures that are more accurate to
who they are supposed to be? By this I mean any like the new updated comic pack Beach Head?

We will not being going back and making lots of the same figures we have
already done, but when we do, we always strive to make them better.

2) Although you cannot confirm this, is there a chance that we may see
more Oktober Guard figures? Possible a 5 pack or at least Horror show and
Diana. If not Oktober Guard is there a chance of any 7 pack extreme
conditions for the Joe team, we love the troop packs.

There is a possibility of a GI Joe extreme conditions pack in the future,
but the Oktober Guard will not be coming to the line in 2009.

3) Can we please have some o-ring figures even if they are online
exclusives, as long as they weren't overly priced and were not heavily
over-used molds they cold make some money using molds they already have and give people who enjoy these figures a cheaper alternative to
convention figures

Hasbro is constantly trying to make our figures better, more detailed, and
more articulated. We are now able to do better figures without O-rings,
so we will not be going back and using old technology. But, the GI Joe
Collectors' Club is always looking to deliver classic figures (O-ring and
T-crotch) for the fans.

4) Will we see any more troop building sets like that of the Crimson
guard, Greenshirts, and Cobra Nightwatch (specifically Cobra Blueshirts
and Infantry Vipers)?

Yes, in 2009 there will be more troopbuilders.

5) With the success of the line and the movie around the corner, is there
now a possibility of getting some of the larger vehicles and play sets?
Maybe a Joe Base, Flagg or Cobra Terror Dome, or at least some 25th
accessory packs.

With the movie, anything is possible. We are not ready to reveal our
plans yet.

On the answer to #3, who wants and is a fan of T-crotch figs? Are they in demand? How are they classic figs? Maybe it is just me!

I dont know a single person who wants a T-crotch figure... maybe Graham but he is Loco....

Basically... we, the o-ring fans, have no Hasbro support. Ok, I will keep spending my money on eBay.

i think their beginning to see that there is a lot of people who would spend big money for them. i think they already have the playsets in the works for thew movie so they will probably see how well they sell and then decide on the others.

They did the o-ring figures again. It's the cheapo single packs from the VvV days! :P

Those answers are a LOT different than what we usually get. Usually they are pretty doom and gloom and very vague. I suppose legally, they can't answer a whole lot or go into specifics. PLUS, they can't have CHapMei and Lanard finding out their battle plans, right?

NExt round, one of us has to ask if the tummy swivel that Dusty has will become a standard!

I still want to know if they can drop their MSRPs too!

In other website, this question was asked and Hasbro answer was... NO. Dusty is one of a kind... :(

That's too bad. Strange that they would create new articulation for a one-shot.

Then we 25A lovers have to band together and tell them what's up! Explain to them the error of their ways! Besides, the Marvel Figures use the same articulation and have the swivel waists!!!

Thx Carlito for letting me know.

I wouldn't buy the same figures just for a waist twist but it would be a great upgrade for new figures in development.

Q: The DVD pack Dusty has a new body construction with both a waist joint and a mid-torso joint. Is this going to be the body-style for future figures?

A: No this was a isolated figure and will not be the new standard going forward.

That was asked twice this round. They said no, it was a one time thing.
I really liked that articulation too.

Buy my o-ring figures! :D

I honestly think they chose to compare o-ring figs to t-crouchers in an effeort to fulley say how much the new 25th is superior. That habsbro always move forward and never back in design! even though the t-crouch came out after the oring, but going from 25th to oring is a step back for hasbro. lame.
