finally got the answers and here they are.

Hey there Joe Dios!

SO sorry for the delay on this! Before I get to your answers, here's a
little something from th Hasbro GI Joe team:

"A note from the Hasbro G.I. Joe Team: Thank you for your incredible
support over the past year. What started as just a handful of figures in
2007 now includes a full line of figures, vehicles, comic packs, DVD
packs, Mighty Muggs, and Combat Heroes. Yo Joe!

We would like to take this opportunity to answer one of the most common
questions about the classic 3 3/4"" figures we have heard from the fans:
Will there be any more classic 1980's 3 3/4"" figures after fall 2008?

The Hasbro G.I. Joe Team's response: In late 2008 you will see a bonus
wave of single figures and classic comic packs that are redecos of figures
from the 25th Anniversary collection. Due to the huge success of the G.I.
Joe line, we were able to squeeze in a number additional figures into the
end of this year. But this does not mean the end of classic figures or
new tooling!

As we head into 2009 prior to the August 2009 live-action
movie G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, you will see newly tooled classic
vehicles, newly tooled versions of your favorite characters from G.I. Joe
Resolute, and a number of favorites you have been waiting for:
Dr. Mindbender, Alpine, Tunnel Rat, Alley Viper, Recondo, Outback, Night
Creeper, Zap, Shockwave, and even more!

With the release of the 2009 movie you will see many of your favorite
1980's characters in movie styling,
but that does not mean the end of the classic style. The Hasbro G.I. Joe

Team recognizes that there are plenty of additional
classic 1980's figures and vehicles to release in the future after the
movie and in the years to come."

And now for your answers. Thanks again for your patience!

Mike

> (1)With the upcoming movie figures getting closer and closer, the fan
based is split between worried and excitement. After the movie toys die
down, will you revert back to the 25th line of action figures and
continue going through the line making the other figures?

We are still working out the post-movie plan and how classic figures will fit into the plan. Our hope is that the movie figures will not die down and it will be like the 80's all over again for a new generation of kids.

> (2)Any plans for a play set for the 25th Anniversary or the movie
figures, now that you've seen how well the line has done? Even if you cannot
commit to an answer as of now, can you give us a percentage of our chance?

You will not see a "major" playset before the G.I. Joe movie. It is
possible (50%) that the classic mini battle stations will make a
comeback before movie.

> (3)The sub-team figures so far (python patrol officer, tiger force
Flint)have both sold well. Will you be doing any other sub-teams?

We will have a couple more sub-team figures and vehicles.

> (4)G.I. Joe has many, MANY fans not only in the U.S. but across the globe, does Hasbro have any plans to create a shipping department that sends items to Canada, Europe or other places outside the U.S.?

Once the G.I. Joe movie hits, we hope that we wont need to ship product to other countries because they will have them on their own local store shelves.

> (5)You have been asked many times, and will so many more, but are there
any new developments about the status of the Season 2 Volume 2 DVD set?

No new developments at this time…but we are still looking into the
re-release the full set.

Thanks for the effort you put in to give us answers.
I cant belive that the hasbro corp dont want to hire a couple of guys to send their stuff to European customers. Have you seen the prices things go for on ebay? Thats money Hasbro is trowing out the window.

If the movie line doesn't BOMB. Movie lines never seem to last, Star Wars aside.

If they are smart and keep to the scale they will be able to sell movie figures as Duke in black, Scarlet in black etc...
