Single Carded Valor vs. Venom figures (http://toynewsi.com/news.php?catid=9&itemid=13155)

Looks like a continuation of the low cost VvsV style single carded figures on new style packaging.

The odd things: no accessories and Night Force RAH Beach-Head. Black Dragon instead of Iron Grenadier (still you can use them as IG's if you want). Sand Viper with the wrong card art. :o

No Snake Eyes, Dukes or Storm Shadows

My complaints: Most of these were done already on single cards with accessories and can still be found at some Family Dollar stores . Tele-Viper sans head mike sucks. Missed opportunity to release the unreleased Mission Disk series 3 figures, as well as hard to find figures like VvsV Torch, Snow Wolf, etc.

Still, I might pick up some Beach-heads for head swap fun. I wish more of them were ARAH style. Imagine the troop builders that could be re-issued. *sigh*

I like the idea of low priced Joe figures at retail. (They need at least one gun...come on!) I do wonder if these aren't just overstocked figures they had gobs of, but then why go to the trouble for new packaging?

All they need to do now is put out some of the Harder to find joes from VvsV and I MIGHT go for it! How about some Torch V2's? Or those Snow Wolfs that came in the two pack with Frostbite?

On a semi-related note

TRU exclusive Hulk "Epic Tunnel Crash" pack (http://i.marvelousnews.com/g/index.php?mode=view&album=Hasbro%2FHulk_Movie%2FEpic_Tunnel_Crash&pic=TRU_Hulk.jpg&dispsize=600&start=0)

Looks like more O-ring Joes used, with the new sculpt Steel Brigade helmets.

The O-RING LIVES!

Maybe this will be my chance to snag Sand Vipers!

Who cares about their accessories. We all buy from Marauder Inc anyway!

Most of them, yeah. (Slice, Slash, Beach Head and black Dragon are "new" to this format). I''ve seen them in stores since 2005! I was wondering why the Family dollar and Dollar General stores would sell out then get fresh cases. Either they made a lot of them, or they were still producing them. Now it seems like they were still shipping them, especially since so many of the figures are the same.

Anybody got a clue when that new Hulk set should hit stores?

Wow, I could go for a Stalker, and a few of the Sand Vipers. Also wouldn't mind checking out the Hulk set.

I'm wondering the Hulk set figures have removable helmets or if like the helmeted figure in the Hulkbuster 2-pack, they molded a "new" permenant helmet head.

As you may have heard elsewhere, these are out now. Check Dollar General stores. They may not be on pegs but in their cardboard shelf cases.

$3 each. No accessories. No tele-viper helmet mike and even Slice is missing his head ribbon thing. :(

They are held to the card by a clear rubberband.

Filecards on back, but shrunk down.

Frostbite from the scarce VvsV wave 5 is among them. Yes, Beach-Head is the RAH night force one.

For the record the assortment is:
Stalker (VvsV)
Dusty (VvsV)
Ace (VvsV)
Frostbite (VvsV, wave 5)
Kamakura (VvsV)
Beach-Head (Night Force, RAH)
Sand Viper (gold and black)
Slice (VvsV)
Slash
Night Creeper (Blue and gold)
Black Dragon (Ninja Battles)
Tele Viper (blue and purple)

Fun to find to cheap Joes anyway. I hope they keep going, add some accessories and dig out some different molds (RAH TROOP BUILDERS and Salvo, Slipstream and Leatherneck from VvsV).
