It's never cool to scam someone, i am a firm believer in community building to stop scammers before they start,. I'd go with Sonnelion on this, we need to know more on what happened and what you have done to get in touch with the guy.

He might of experienced problems or something, if we know more on who it is we might be able to help you out.

I always try to resolve things amicably. Shoot the guy about 5-6 emails asking if there has been a delay, or if there is something you can do to expidite the process. If he keeps ignoring you, let him know you intend to "out him" as a scammer on the forum. If he still does not cooperate, I say go to the forum and out him. One thing you DON'T wanna do is act like it's personal!

Don't start out like "This #(%^)#$ son of a #($)%^ took my money and never gave me a ($$*$%^$ thing!!" .

A better statement would be; "On Jan 18th I agreed on the forum to swap ______ for ______ with_______. I sent the items out on Jan 21st. As of yesterday I had sent ________ four emails concerning this matter, and recieved no reply and I have not recieved the ________ that was promised.

And leave it at that. You start saying he's a scammer or a bum, and you just build resentment. Maybe he's been ill or had an emergency in the family, and not been able to meet his side of the deal, but if you state the facts, he can state what happened without losing face.

Just my $.02

BTW, most trades that occur happen OFF the boards. So as Frank said, don't call him out (yet). Make sure you email him or PM on whatever board you were dealing with this guy from. If the guy doesn't answer, discuss things with the mods. They will tell you how to proceed. Good luck.
