Say it isn't so, GH! Obviously it's your choice my friend, but I'd most certainly like to see you hang on to your collection and keep sharing your very cool shots with us. But whatever you decide, I hope it all works out well for you. :)

A friend once taught me that to buy a house we shouldn't sell the car. Never give up on something for other thing.

I would say, go for the guitar, but don't sell the Joes for it. :)

My best wishes.

I've got a Line6 Spider112. It's a combo state. 1-12" speaker. It's powerful enough to play with a drummer. Well, if you're heavy metal, it's pushing it but I was able to play just fine. Great lil amp but there's a Marshall stack that I'd rather have. (or it's because Slayer plays Marshall. NOT that Line6 is bad cuz the guys from Fear Factory used 'em)

I think that's the Marshall I'd want. I'm kinda anal about the amps now. The Line6 is good and but man, I'd like something that can produce the heavy crunch w/o using a special box. In which case, I DO have.

There's a guy on the JBL selling his collection too. I admit, I don't know people here as well as Fred and Justin KNOW the members on JBL... but... Sometimes, you gotta do what you gotta do. I had to sell 90% of my S6 figures about a year ago. I sold all my JvC/SpyTroops/VvV MOCs last year too. I hope I don't have to sell my meager 25A collection someday.

I don't like their line of eletronics, but Ibanez has some great guitars. My buddy in high school had the (Peavey) 5150 v1 and man, he was able to get any sound he wanted out of it. It was pretty scary. He didn't have to do much to get Pantera or Slayer's sound. And then change to Soundgarden or Pearl Jam. While that amp was awesome, it wasn't my cup of tea. Course, it took years for me to figure what I really wanted. Guess it's just trial and error and luck.
