the ninjafaction begins!! haha now what i loved about this issue is how it basically sets up both sides to find the others top secret base of course this leads to the battle of Springfield and the destruction of the pitt but im getting ahead of myself overall a good story with a lot of buildup i especially love the last page as Spirit inspects" Ripcords" wounds he finds blood and a bullet hole on the left shoulder but the wound on the right one with no hole in the shirt..dun dun DUN!!(dramatic music added for effect ;) )

Or they could have both rolled into the Firebat launch chute and died together killing poor Ripcord while trying to take out Zartan... I know many tears would have been shed, but in the end, it might have been better. And Zartan would have had an evil laugh at the irony of their end when he found out...

I'm not a ninja hater...I just like the Commando/LRRP idea better, as it's more "Joe-ish".

I liked this comic because of the plot twists and the foreshadowing Hama did, giving hints of things to come. The man can craft a story...

That's how I work Snake Eyes into my Joeverse, as a highly trained commando, skilled in martial arts....but not a mystical ninja. Luckily his sculpt allows that, which is why Storm Shadow doesn't exist in my Joeverse, there's not much else you can do with his design!

One of my favorite issues and had a great cover too! I loved ever page of this one cause the action was non-stop! Snakes' and Storm's run on Cobra Island plus the whole Zartan/Ripcord thing and then the rescue team was just great!
