Ok, here's the deal. Rather than pleading throughout the threads about what we want/need for our collections, let's start one thread to post what we want/need and hopefully someone can help you out.

Rules:

No Begging! Just a simple "I'm looking for a ______ version ____" Or something similar.

Also, so as not to clutter up this version, just post once and edit it, instead of reposting 100 different time about what you want! Remember to remove items you've recieved from someone and add the new items you're looking for in your post! Conduct all business in PM's, not on the boards. The board should only have what you're currently looking for. We HAVE threads for What you got and good/bad trader alerts, so lets keep this thread simple.....one post per user.....

You enter into a deal with someone on here, it's at your own risk! Don't go flaming " ENDER098 shafted me!" . My Advice, start small and work up trust with the person. (I have given dozens of people free stuff I had extra from buying lots on ebay, and I don't like to trade or sell because I have been ripped off so many times.) I do encourage "kudos" if someone helped you out. Most of you know me and I'm a straight shooter, and I DO have a reputation to uphold!

I see this as an opportunity to help out each other and the collecting community as a whole (God Knows Hasbro aint lookin out for us) but if it degenerates to flaming or accusations, I'll have the Mods delete this thread and all the good that it creates along with it!

I'm guessing by the way things are going here, things are pretty hit and miss with finding stuff. A lot of the lists look to be very ARAH heavy, which can be difficult. I just want to let you know what online retailers such as BBTS, DNSToys.com and SmallJoes.com tend to have 2002+ leftovers. So in the case of someone looking for Dart, DNS has the original Spy Troops 2-pack for $7. They have cases of the last 2 waves of VvV as well. (2x Snake Eyes vs Swamp Rat in the case...)

Unfortunately, JoeHQ has been sold off and who knows what's to become of it. But I'm sure they had a lot of what you guys needed.

Marvel X-Men cards. I have a full set of the 1st series which was drawn by Jim Lee. These were released back in 1992 or so. Includes all the current teams of that time; X-Factor, X-Men, Uncanny X-Men, X-Calibur and X-Force.

Marvel X-Men 2 cards. These were drawn by the artists of the time. Andy Kubert, Brandon Peterson, Joe Queseda, Greg Cupola (sp, think he did X-Force) and a few other random artists. Full set, as far as I know.

Wildstorm universe cards. These were released circa 1995 and done by various artists. Not quite a full set. These are oversized cards as well.

WildCATs cards. These were drawn by a group of Wildstorm artists (Jae Lee, Jim Lee, Brett Booth, Marc Silvestri, etc) circa 1993. Full set.

If you buy the 'sets', I'll throw in a few of the other random cards that I ended up with too.

I believe I was told it was from the BBI weapons set #1. I need a top and botton view of the lid, side and rear views. A good shot of the inside and especially one of the bottom with the manufacturer stamp. Hopefully he will be able to get them from the maker, or have some custom made!! the 25thcobra pilot .(cobra with red/black Gas mask)
parts to the crusader shuttle the front wheel and the stablizers all three also the rear engine for the escape pod and right hand side gun.
the cobra vehicle gunner from the hiss tank .
also need one gold missile for the D.E.M.O.N
and I need to get the bottom gun for destros flight pod (can't recall the name)

Update: I think I am canceling this call for help. Doing some testing, I think the Ferret's wheels will work for what I need. They are not as tall as the AWE's wheels, but tall enough, and look like they will do well. Just have to alter them to fit the vehicle I am modifying. Time to buy a new ferret just for parts.

Concerning Scalpers,

They seem to be active, especially for the latest wave of figures. I don't know how anyone here feels about them, or even that maybe some who lurk might be one, but besides all that, I am becoming frustrated with the latest wave of figures (the wave that includes the ROC/POC Desert Viper). The local stores here do not seem to have any of the latest in stock, and TRU is gearing up their Babies-R-Us merchandise for the Christmas season. So I am looking for help in securing some of the latest figures. I would rather deal with money-order, and if anyone would like to help, please PM me.

To help combat scalpers, I will post word when the stores here start to get the latest so that maybe I can help secure some figures for whomever needs them.

One thing we do have, which is an advantage, is a network of contacts from around the world. And I have no problem in helping my fellow JD'ers get what they want.
