I was reading thru the JBL reviews on the 25th figures (ok, skimming) and had a D'OH moment. I didn't relize that the 25th figures didn't turn at the waist!!! I mean, I just ASSumed that they did and I couldn't see it. But man! No turn at the waist? That's JACKED! How'd I miss that one? No wonder you guys hate 'em so!!!
I knew the o-ring was gone and sure, that's fine. But I expected a SW type of swivel in the waist. Would it have been that hard for Hasbro to do a male/female plug?
Go ahead, bash away on the 25th figures. Again. :D

I really like them, but there is certainly room for improvement.I've heard that Hasbro is aiming for improvements to Wave 2 and the others to follow. :)

They have some good points, but too many problems to be considered an improvement over "old" Joes. I hope Hasbro read up on the internet, listen to fan's gripes, and make improvements accordingly. As it stands now I won't be wasting any more money on figures of the current standard.

Man I never knew  , of course it would help if they actually had them in the stores around here so I could see them in person!!! :( Thanks for the info Sonneilon!!! :)

I was hoping for a Clone trooper type articulation, but in a Joe character... They still don't have them here, but I've heard Madison, Milwaukee and Waukesha have them. I'm not going to make a road trip though. When they arrive, they arrive.
How about heads? Are they Airborne Trooper Clone style with heads that pop off? I never have held a Barrage, but I think that is how he would be.... So I figured that is how the lazy head swap would be facilitated.
Let me know. I was planning on buying a single pack, checking the articulation and customability prior to buying more. But I still haven't seen them.

They don't turn at the waist, but they turn at the torso, which essentially leads to the same effect...

You know G, the title alone of this thread speaks volumes...............but that's not the 'crux' of it, is it???
I want to see the figures for myself. I'll be perfectly honest, I trust that Craig and I share mostly the same thoughts as to the articulation of past figs of this line, so I'm inclined to agree with his conclusions.
Worst case scenario?? I leave them in the box.........a true first for me.........
But I will buy them, if for no other reason than to continue to have G.I. Joe products on the shelves........

Yeah, I'm thinking about just leaving 'em MOC cuz they really don't fit in w/ the my JvC era of figures. Shoot, I'm still trying to build the VvV Vipers and NeoVipers, when cash allows. If only I'd stop buying Warhammer40k stuff. :P
Seriously tho, I thought they turned at the waist. I agree with the SW CloneTrooper articulation. That's what I thought they were gonna be. Oh well... If Hasbro changes things up, I can only hope that it might be remotely consistent with what's out now. NOthing worse than have that 1st wave JvC and then BAM, o-rings for Wave2!

If Worst Comes To Worst It May Happen, I Mean Remember When The Joes Came Back And Ther Was No O Ring, A Lot Of Fans Didnt Like That, Hasbro Went Back To Its Old Routs, I Just Cant Get Why Thay Have To Keep Playing With The Joes For ,just Leave It As Is,

I can understand trying to change the figures for MORE articulation but to mess w/ a formula like the o-ring, that seems kinda odd. But at least it wasn't the JvC Wave1 bs they pulled.
