In no particular order I go with:
- Flint, he is a bad ass officer and can fly them out if needed;
- Beachead, the man is bad to the bones;
- Sgt. Stalker, recon expert;
- Mainframe, to handle something technology related;
- Low Light, a sharpshooter is always a good guy to have around you;
- Rock N'Roll, he can handle the heavy fire support and maybe bring some nice songs to the party;
- Shockwave, a CQB is a probability nowadays;
- Leatherneck, man he is a marine Sgt. just like my friend Frank;
- Definily a snakeeter like Lt. Falcon, having him and Sgt. Stalker you just covered a lot of languages they can possible come across;
- Last but not the least, Ripcord.

I have to agree here.. Ripcord is awesome.. and if your from my joe verse he's from my hometown!! :eek: That's right.. in my version of events Ripcord is Action Force and from Manchester, UK.
So in my joeverse Ripcord isnt officially a gijoe team member :cool:
Here is my 10:
1. Duke - Master Sergeant and I think we all expected me to pick this guy. :o
2. Beach Head - Recon and Ranger Specialist. No guff no nonsense tough dude.
3. Low Light - Man.. this guy is the best sniper.. and you have to have one of these.
4. Torpedo - Might need some water access.. and its any mission basics so I pick Torpedo over Wet Suit (I know dave wont like me for this)
5. Quarrel - Counter Intelligence. I know she's mainly a vehicle operator but I use her as my AF Scarlett equivalent. :cool:
6. Snake Eyes - Oh come on? You need a commando right? And as once said always said Snake Eyes is the best commando.
7. Stalker - Primarily for winter ops. He's been an arctic assault dude as well and could lead the joes across barren tundra's :D
8. Dial Tone - Communications. I grew up with this dude and he was one of my first. Non related he was top scorer in my soccer league once. Go mr Morelli!
9. Heavy Duty - Because you need a good heavy weapons specialist in there. He could handle any heavy hardware easily.
10. Shockwave - Urban and CQB
Cool Topic Captain Max... Oooh and one note. Stalker would be my medic ;)

Ok.
I/C- Flint. Natural leader. And as stated, can double as a pilot
2 i/c Stalker- Green beret (and the language thing is very pertinant)- and again Medic
Lowlight- Gotta have at least one sniper
Beachhead- all around badass
Dial Tone- Im with Rich on this- he was the main Comms guy over here.
Wreckage- maybe a strange choice on the surface, but he's the only joe whose speciality is Dems - as opposed to OED.- also you can blame Violentfix for my Wreckage obsession
Scarlett- Intelligence
Recoil- recon and will carry loads of gear.
Gung Ho- again recon and grenadier
Rock n Roll- needed a gunner, and although Roadblock is my fav gunner, Rock n Roll is a little more versatile.
Thats it. Couple of points Id make- Id expect all members of teh Joe team to be HALO/HAHO trained, and CQB trained.

my team will be my fav,NIGHT FORCE,
1.Lt. Falcon. hes the leader in it all,
2.Tunnel Rat, here's a man that can get you out of any trouble,no matter were you are.
3.Recoil, this guy is sneaky, the Jose need him at night when facing cobra,at night attack,
4.Outback, Survivalist, your going to need him for every thing, and hes one of my fav,
5.Tracker, i wasn't crazy when they turn him in to action man, then kill him off. so for him ,since he was Tran by spirit as a top tracker, when the Jose loos cobras trail tracker is called in to pick it back up.
6.Airborn,if one of the joes gets hurt, hes the battlefield medic,

8.Flint, hes second in line to lead the team, this guy has history.
9.Hard Drive,Battlefield Computer Specialist,he sees all and knows all.

Too many possibilites here!!!
Flint and I have had soooo many great groups through the years......but one in particular is featured in some pics that we posted recently.
Blowtorch
Leatherneck
Quick Kick
Breaker
Alpine
Bazooka
and to round it off, let's throw in some 'chicks'
Scarlett
Lady Jaye
Cover Girl
Jinx
In our Joeverse, all of these operatives are more than cross-trained, so limiting them to only ONE purpose for a mission is a moot point......

my team:
1)beach head would lead the way.
2)gung-ho. a lot of strength and knowledge of swamp land.
3)dusty, if you have a team, sooner or later your gonna need a desert expert.
4)bazooka for some heavy hitting.
5)dial tone for communications and tech support.
6)lifeline for my medic.
7)outback, strong, knows how to stray alive and can double as a tracker.
8)lady jaye for intelligence and to give the boys something to look at.
9)letherneck just because hes bad and you need all the infantry you can get.
10)sci fi in black uniform. with him you have a laser rifle and a sniper at the same time. and the guy knows how to stay calm.

I actually went to sleep contemplating this last night! It didn't help that I kept thinking about Sigma 6 and America's Elite as small Joe-teams supposedly able to handle any situation. In any case, here's what I came up with:
<a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w228/AgentStormer/10-JoeTeam.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket"></a>
I based it on trying to create a team suited to fighting modern terrorism around the world.
Mirage: Heavy weapons, Artillery
Cover Girl: Armor, Mechanics, and DDP had her train up to be qualified in Intelligence, too
Shipwreck: Naval specialist, and since the 90s, SEAL
Airtight: HazMat (& Ordnance)
Hacker: Computer Tech and Telecommunications
Claymore: Team leader; Anti-Terrorism specialist, international intelligence, legendary soldier
Snake Eyes: Ninja Commando Super-Hero
Stalker: Second-in-Command; filecards show Ranger, EOD, Medic, Interpreter, Cold Weather & Desert ops, Infantry
Barrel Roll: Marksman/Sniper and Pilot
Super Trooper: ultimate Infantry and Covert ops soldier
I think this team is ready for most situations!

Ok Here's a Team I'd send in the Field:
Flint
Lady Jaye
Shipwreck
Breaker
Grunt
Mutt & Junkyard
Zap
Gung-Ho
Alpine
Bazooka
Wild Bill
Clutch
OK I know I picked 12, 13 if you count Junkyard, but there are so many combo's Scarlett & I've come up with over the years it's tough for us to keep are teams small!!! :D
