My name is John, I'm 32, I live in Oregon and have been into GIJoe since they premiered in 1982. I work in the IT field, just received my Bachelors in IT this past February. I am not married but have met my significant other about 11 months ago. She is from Slavakia (not mail order) and is a wonderful supportive woman. No kids as of yet.
I am a collector at heart. Always have been. I collect Marvel Legends, Star Wars, Transformers, Comics, books and am slowly starting up with Side Show collectables. My other hobbies consist of ATV riding, Motor cycle riding, hiking, camping (geeze, this is starting to sound like a personal), movies, traveling and home remodeling.
I joined the Army right out of high school and received my honorable discharge in 2000 (nick of time). My father got me interested in military paraphanalia. He collected all sorts of military goods from Britains Limited soldiers to WWII weapons.
This is the first on-line community I have ever been a part of. I had browsed the site for sometime before deciding to hop on board and am glad that I did. It is cool to interact with people around the world like this. Love the site and really enjoy all of your opinions and comments.

In an effort to get to know each other, I’ll start the introductions by telling you about myself. I’m Ender098 aka Frank. Well, I TRY to be FRANK (that one never gets old). I have been collecting GI Joes since I was 14 back in 1982. I have a wife and two kids, and I’m an active Duty Marine. My hobbies are Martial Arts, Military History, Action movies and everything about Joe and Dio Stories!
I found this site a few years ago and lurked for a while, and one day my wife looked at my collection and asked what I was gonna do with them. As she put it “You’re never gonna “play” with them! I happened to be on JoeDios website and thought….HEY! I have a Camera and some Joes…..I could totally do THIS!
So far I have created 5 Dio Stories;
FALLOUT (never finished it, and it will be available soon in PDF Format!)
The Rise Of the Shadow Guard An introduction to the state of Cobra in my JoeVerse!
Your Loving Son, Chris A Companion piece to LordRaven (aka Shane’s) Dio Story “Your Loving Son, Jim”
Riddick, Run! The Start of my Venom II/ Riddick Storyline
Enemy of My Enemy Parts I and II - A continuation of the Riddick/Venom II series
I also written reviews and how-to’s in order to help out beginning Dio Story creators! There is plenty to do here and if you learn something or have something to contribute, please do. No one is perfect, and the learning by making mistakes is as fun as succeeding with this hobby! I Totally love it. You don’t have to have a HUGE collection. Most photos or Dios focus on 3 or fewer characters!
If you need help, guidance, wanna chat with me or even critique my work….feel free. I’m always looking to help or get new fresh input!
We have a lot of members who are VERY talented and fun to just chat with and pick their brains! Let us know about yourself and..
Welcome to JoeDios!
Oh..here I am in the SeaWrold T-Shirt!

I live in Montreal, up in that big hunk'o land called Canada, eh?
Blowtorch
06-28-2007, 06:04 PM
I'm Blowtorch (wanna guess where my screen name came from) aka Allen.
I just recently moved to Ohio from New York. I'm a Joe, Star Wars and Marvel comic fan. I just finished my first Star Wars story (http://www.freewebs.com/blowtorch1984/starwarsbountyhunter.htm) around the beginning of the month. I'm trying to fix up my Joe room after that I plan on finishing a dio story my son and I were working on in NY along with my Joe story (that ran into some story problems) I've only done tutorial (nothing compared to Ender098)
Welcome and Enjoy the site.

Just a quick suggestion if I may? :o Can this be stickied? Should I be mailing this to a moderator to get it stickied?
Otherwise it will get sent to the bottom like that other Intro thread. :)
It would be much preferable if the thread stayed open and visable on the first page. ;)
Onwards with my own Intro.

Hello my name is Bill but all of my online screen names are the same EW3Smiley1996 (it was my rate/rank/nickname/year of release from the navy) I am 33 with a great wife that i have been with for almost 9yrs and married to for almost 7yrs with 3 great kids(that sometimes drive me nuts, but whose kids don't). And the guys here are great and will give you all the help you need to do what you want.....

Here we go again!
My name is Matt, I'm 28 years old, I live in California, and I work for Wells Fargo Bank.
I'd been familiar with the RAH Joes since they first came out, but I didn't get into them for real until I was in the 7th grade. I also love Marvel Comics, the Transformers, Star Trek, and Star Wars. My current favorite TV shows include 24, Lost, Prison Break, Family Guy, and American Dad. My favorite TV show of all time is Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, followed closely by Batman: The Animated Series.
I don't post a lot of comments here, but I look at pretty much every picture and read pretty much every dio. I may be best known around these parts for my small contribution to the Joe dio-community, "G.I. Joe and the Transformers"-- a dio-story unique in that it features the Joes and Hasbro's other big brand-- as well as a lot of Photoshop work!
My favorite Joe is Duke, and my favorite Cobra is a toss-up between Slice and the Baroness. I'm eagerly awaiting the 25th anniversary Joes, which have me more excited than any Joe products that have come out in many years. On this site that puts me in the minority, though on other Joe forums, that seems not to be the case.
Other miscellaneous trivia: My favorite fictional character ever is Sherlock Holmes, followed closely by Optimus Prime. Favorite foods include burgers, pizza, and pasta. I have no favorite drink, unless you count water, and my favorite color is blue.

Dersham
06-28-2007, 09:48 PM
Hey everyone, I'm Dersham the semi lurker/semi contributor. I'm 22, my real name is Tao, yes like the philosophy/religion, I'm using lots of slashes today. I live in Canada, opposite side to Jay though, on the West Coast on an island called Vancouver Island. Currently I'm a student of anthropology and am close to graduating.
I've been collecting joes since I was a wee lad, the first joe I ever saw when I was like 5, I knew right then I would be collecting them, and lo and behold here I am several years later and still collecting. I've recently started customizing, my blue unit was on here a while back though I've bumped my unit up to 8 now.
I've posted some diostories of a... special quality, I'm lazy and don't put as much work into it as a lot of you guys, but honestly, doesn't someone need to be bad at this? I'm huge into wargaming, not so much with the little figures these days as I've been wargaming with Joes, though the game is RPG as well as strategy and utilizes squad sized tactics. I've been working on the rules for a few years now and think they work well to some degree, but refinements are always being made on my part. I'm a huge fan of Venture Bros too, that show is awesomely hilarious.
Hmm that's all I've got, but that's enough I guess.

Some interesting stories here.
Dersham- do you pronounce your name Tao or Dao?
I was pleased to hear you're studying anthropology. Its a real interest/hobby of mine- particularly paleoanthropology- and the history of tattoos.
I briefly introduced myself before, but no harm going over it again.
Im Chris, 32, rapidly going on 12.
Been collecting Joes since they were Action Force over here.
(Im Scottish- as Im sure Ill mention time and again)
I started when I was around 7 or 8 with Baron Ironblood and a few Red Shadows.
When the better articulated stuff came along, I far preferred that, so started on that.
Lost interest when all the neon stuff came out- and was far more interested in getting drunk anyways at that time.
Got back into Joes a few years ago, when I finally got a computer and discovered YoJoe- where Im also known as Bigtattoo.
irl- well, Im a trained psychiatric nurse, but actually have had to give it up, due to a variety of health reasons.
I have bad asthma- not helped by the fact I smoke like a laboratory beagle.
And other stuff Id rather not go into, so Im afraid Im also another one who's unemployed at present.
Im a big fan of tattoos- no surprises there- and have almost 30% coverage, with my arms mostly done- my left's sleeved (which means covered totally), and the rest everywhere else from head to foot.
Im sporadically into weight-training, and have been on and off for approx. 20 years (more off than on in the last few- as my waistline will testify)
Im also a voracious reader- particularl Sci-Fi/Fantasy/Crime drama.
Fav Food- Pizza
Fav drink- Coffee.
Fav colour- black.
Fav. Joe- Lowlight
Fav. Cobra- hmmm, Id have to go with Firefly- as Destro isnt really Cobra anymore.
Thats about it.
Talon
06-28-2007, 11:29 PM
Hi, this is Talon, from the other Joe sites, and it seems like I walked in after a barroom brawl broke out. First of all, no, I'm not the lurker you guys have been battling recently. I've read the post and it's pretty pathetic. Reminds me of Jedisarlacc from JoeSightings and Joebattlelines, another illustrious member of the "Banned from Joe Sites" Club.
Anyway, my main Joe past time is collecting and customizing. At present I have some 817 customs complete with another 43 in the hopper. I'm hoping to be able to start posting some of these darned things in a few weeks, both her and at my own site, which currently under construction. Have been viewing the dios for quite some time and "borrowing" (read:knocking off) those ideas that I like. Hoping to be able to do some dios in the coming months too
Personally, excited about the 25th Anni, looking forward to the upcoming con (even if I won't be there) and getting married in October. Will post as necessary/when I feel like it. I'll be honest but respectful, and hope for the same.
and for the record, I have a Comic Pack Firefly :D

Okay, for those who missed it first time round, here we go again. My name is Craig, and I have been hanging around this site for a couple of years now. I only really post one-shots, mainly because I'm too darn lazy to sit down and write a proper diostory (maybe one day.... ;) ). I have posted a couple of threads in the how to section, and I'm always happy to share my limited knowledge of GI Joe-dom, especially about customising and painting vehicles.
In the "real" world, I'm very happily married to the beautiful Deanne, and we've been together twenty years this year. We live all the way down here in Australia, which is pretty much a Joe wasteland. All the stuff I get has to be shipped here from the US, so it can get pretty costly, but that will never stop me from buying the stuff I want. Luckily my wife supports my addiction! To support my "habit", I work as a senior Lab Technician in the plastics industry. Not very exciting, but it pays the bills! In my spare time not spent on Joes, I'm pretty serious about keeping fit and enjoy listening to music. My other collecting bugs include 1/64 scale Nascar diecast cars, trading cards, and US Civil War relics and photos.
I love the friendly community on this site, and I have met some great people from all over the world thanks to Joedios. Alright, that's enough blabbering from me, there's just one more thing to say.....YoJoeDios!!!

ToneGunsRevisited
06-29-2007, 04:34 PM
My complete name is Luís Galileu Gall Tonelli and I love my name. It's a legacy from my father. We are descendants from italians, as you can see by my last name. My dad choosed the name because of Galileu Galilei and Jesus Christ (born at galileia, so he is a galileu). My nick name was a gift from a ex-girlfriend, she said I could call a rock band that I was trying to setup ToneGuns (Tone from Tonelli and Guns from Guns N'Roses) and here I am with my nick.
I'm a G.I. Joe addicted since my childhood, but I was just able to buy 2 of them in my childhood since they were high prices. Today I can say that I've a very good collection due to have some cash separated from my pay and get help from friends from Joedios. I do a lot of mini G.I. Joe diostories and have a diostory "stored". I've also a Star Wars diostorie running that I'll go back at it soon.
I work as a High School teacher of Physics, 30 hours a week and just love what I do. I'm studing a lot to begin next year my Master Deegree so I'll be able to go for teaching in an university. It's a way to get a higher payment here :).
A rock fan, that's really what I am since 7 years old! From Lynyrd Skynyrd to Red Hot Chilli Peppers.
Well, since I finally found a way for my name to sound totally bad@$$...

Ooh my turn!
Well, I'm Dave, I'm 22. I stay near Edinburgh in Scotland. I study Computer Networking and Distributed Systems at University and I work part time.
I love all sorts of music, Love photography, motorsport, playing soccer/football and Cars - Particularly cars made by GM - Really into Star Trek as well. However the two big loves I have in my life are GI Joe/Action Force and Newcastle United.... Is that three? :D
I have been collecting since 1989, Dodger was my first figure, Iron Grenadier was my first bad guy and the RPV was my first vehicle!
I stopped collecting around 1996 only to start again years later in 2003. I hadn't realised the Joes were re-released in 97 until around 2000. When I turned 18 my parents bought me JVC Flint and Baroness and the HISS tank. That's what started me collecting again. I did how ever have an interest in photographing the collection I already built up. The dios on Generalsjoes and Timscorner being the inspiration for this! I think it will be fair to say a lot of dioists - a word I made to describe me and others like me, no idea if its a real word or not :D - will have the General and Timelf to thank for their Joe snapping too... Or maybe not... I never even considered army building as a kid! :o
Anyway, that's pretty much me... Boring... :p

I'm Dzirhan, I'm 35 and working a journalist and consultant in the defence sector, and live in Malaysia.
I started collecting in 85 and then when on hiatus in 88 before restarting in 97. Currently am a bit on semi-hiatus not by choice but rather due to work hence my limited postings of dios and participation in forums.
Basically collect almost any 1/18 or 3 3/4 modern military to enhance and reequip my joes and now somewhat happy with the toys availability here since I can get PTE, most BBI and Chap Mei readily but wish could get the joes here in stores.

I stopped collecting in about 1990 and didn't start again until 2001 with the RAH collection. then I left home for a couple of years and then I came back to go to college where I met my wife who had already graduated and now I am on the wife scholarship. :D I got back into collecting when my mom got me a v1 stormshadow with a full cardback for Christmas and I've been going ever since. Lately I have been trying to get into collecting G1 transformers as well and fixing up my old figures like devastator. Interesting story, I was helping my mom go through a closet with some old boxes and I foung the complete Voltron Lion foce mint in the package, all five lions, so needless to say I achieved another childhood goal. My major in college is Information Systems with an Emphasis in Network Administration. I should graduate next year unless the department chair tries to pooch me. I love playing american football as well as the real football.

Lol Yup the Dodge is made by Daimler/Chrysler... But those guys have nothing to do with this beast... Good job too, as they'd only ruin it...
I'm not surprised your confused Jay... They aren't for sale in America/Canada... At least not yet... But I think they will be soon enough... Kinda strange That GM are sourcing cars from Europe and Oz now. The Saturn Astra and Pontiac GTO being examples. It should be noted that the most recent GTO was an HSV rebadged as a Pontiac. It had a few cosmetic changes here and there from the version that was sold in the UK and Outrider's part of the world. But nothing drastic.
Anyway... As for the GTS-R? The Viper has nothing on this limited edition HSV. Although the cars name is not officially known, it's thought to be "GTS-R" or possibly "GTS-R 427" ;)
Basically it's a super saloon with the 7.0 litre engine and gearbox from the current 'Vette.
The bad news is we have to wait until October for it. It may well never make it to your part of the world or the UK! That's a bugger...
If your interested... www.hsv.com.au You won't see any Dodge's there ;)
However, last time I checked, there was no word on the website. Not yet anyway... They are building this thing to celebrate HSV's 20th Anniversary.
Whether it's to you tastes Jay, I don't know mate... But as a concept, It's very respectable, especially since it will be a lot cheaper than an M5. :p
Note to Craig: Buy one! I know "I just want one" ;)
Dave :D
Um, yeah. Except that anywhere else in the world, the GTS-R refers to this:

Yeah I know the heap you're talking about, went like stink in GT3 though. ;)
HSV has had a GTS-R model off and on for at least 11 years... Maybe longer.
Whats in a name anyway? At least the HSV will be... less ugly than the viper? :)

Hi!
I'm Bartus. I'm from Peru, but currently living in Chile. I'm 32 yrs old, married with 2 kids (4 yrs and 1.5 yrs).
My first Joes came in 1986, Scrap Iron and Ripcord. As a kid I never got any vehicle, only about 20 Joes. When I grew I sold my joes and kept 4 or 5 in a box.
Many years later... in 1999... I rediscovered my interest in them, and started collecting (1st task: get the ones I had as a kid), and from them I kept increasing my collection, and started with similar 1/18 lines as well.
One of the first things that came with me when I moved to Chile were all my figures, but unfortunately my vehicles and playsets remained in Peru... and now, each time I go there I return with a couple of boxes of vehicles... one day they will be all together again...
I was amazed when I discovered the customizing and dios part of the hobby... but I didn't had the time to do it... now I have, and I will start posting some pics soon :)
(I need to improve my photograph shooting and photoshop editing skills, and learning from your posts will be an important part of it) :)
All the best!
Bartus!

Bartus, i didn't know that they had Jose were you are. wow, is there a lot different from the American version.
bartus
07-04-2007, 03:46 PM
Well, yes, there were "Joses" (lol) down here. At that time(when I was a kid), all the ones I got were north american versions, but years later when I got back into joes, I found vehicle boxes in spanish, apparently made in Venezuela... in fact I have (sadly still in Peru) an X-30 box in spanish.
Unfortunately, right now, nobody imports joes, so I have to get mine from the US, which makes them more expensive (for example, my "HTS 75% sale" buy was for 70 USD, and besides that I have to pay extra 175 USD for freight and customs)... good thing is that they will be delivering them tomorrow.
Bartus.

Hi Rich!
Thanks for the welcome!
I totally agree with you that in some cases "au naturale" photos are better... I look forward to find a garden or forest where I can shoot some pics... if not I will have to stick to urban scenarios (or desert, which I think are easier to edit) :)

Hey there Bartus.
Your english is fantastic!
I speak with some people on MSN from other countries too, and yes. Au Naturale is way better, I guess I'm for photo editing and effects, its just so pleasing to get a shot outdoors that you don't need to do much messing around with.
Being from the UK we also have that import problem on Joes. Nobody (official) ships to the united kingdom either so usually we get a US Friend to help us out
Do you have a digital camera yet?
Rich

Thanks Rich :)
It's because I constantly deal with english speaking persons (due to my work).
"Being from the UK we also have that import problem on Joes. Nobody (official) ships to the united kingdom either so usually we get a US Friend to help us out "
Ahh... the old days when joes were all over the world... :( ... hope this new line goes well, enough to encourage some big chains to include some joes in their buying list... for example, last year Peru got Sigma 6 in Wong/Metro (kind of Wal-Mart), but no Dragonhawk... so there's a possibility...
Yes, I have digital camera, my old but reliable Minolta Dimage Xt 3.2 MP. I haven't decided yet to replace it. Which reminds me I need a new battery for it...

What? Introductions? Oh, right, er, I guess it's time I introduced myself (now that this thread has been here for weeks).
My name is Ryan; I'm 22 and live in Austin, TX where I'm working for an environmental engineering firm. I have one semester left in civil engineering at the University of Texas here and I'm not sure what or where I'll be after that. I have a wonderful wife, Katherine, whom I married just over a month ago.
I've been into Joe since I can remember; I believe my first figure was Recoil, given to me by my parents as a reward for doing something good (don't remember what). That began a long obsession with the toys that lasted until adolescence. My main memories of G.I. Joe are from 1988-90, so I have a huge soft spot for that entire era.
Of course, eventually, I decided I was too "grown up" for them, so I tried to eschew anything that resembled "playing" with my Joes, but still couldn't bring myself to part with them. Sooner or later I grew up a little and realized I could have a lot of fun collecting as an adult hobby. My dad and I started to follow G.I. Joe developments and even went to the 1997 Convention in San Antonio (we lived in Houston).
After that, we were pretty much hooked. I've been an avid collector ever since, with a few occasional hiatuses brought about by being busy with school or just moving into other things. In the past two years or so I've really jumped back into collecting with both feet and don't plan on stopping anytime soon. I started taking photos of my Joes before finding this site, then lurked here for at least a year and was so inspired by the awesome stuff here that I started putting a lot of effort and (attempted) creativity into photographing my collection.
I'm slowly building a section of my website for my collection (see link below); and I try to feature a lot of my best photos and customs there. I love the community on this site and am thrilled to have some people to share this awesome hobby with.
Yo Joe!

I'm Steve, from Bristol, England. I'm single father, with two boys aged 7 and 4. I was first introduced to Action Force in about 1980, and followed the line through the Red Shadow era, the Cobra era, all the way till about '88, when it was no longer 'cool' to buy toys. I do regret this now!
I briefly got back into collecting about 5 years ago, but didn't last long due to poor availability in UK. I stopped, and focussed on Transformers. But now with the 25th anniversary, and experience ordering overseas, I'm back with a vengeance!
I currently don't have anything, but I have the 25th stuff on preorder, and should have it soon. From there I will expand! I prefer the vintage RAH molds over the newer JvC stuff, so will probably concentrate on that.

Well, most of ya know me, I'm Shane, AKA LordRaven. Right now in Nova Scotia about to move to Manitoba to be with Jen (JadenSaphire) who's so into my Joe stuff it ain't funny.
I've been a Joe fan since I was a kid, my dad is military so that helped fuel my love. I've been on the site a lil over a year now methinks, and have made some AWESOME friends here and had a good laugh with ya'll.
My favorite movies are Star Wars, Aliens, Army Of Darkness, The Thing, Clerks, and anything with guns and war and to do with Vietnam.
I love comics, music, movies, video games, just a lil bit of everything.
I've got a dio perpetually on the development phase called "The Last Chance Squad" and the one I worked on with Frank (Ender098) called "Your Loving Son, Jim", which I think turned out pretty good. I know the gang here are great at helping new people out with thier photos, look at my old stuff and newer stuff....leaps and bounds. Have fun here people, that's the deal!

Hey ya!
I just found this thread and somehow I think it's the perfect place to introduce myself :).
My name is Markus, I'm 28 years and I'm a GI Joe and Transformers collector almost from the start. I was a little bit too young to be there from the start but from around '86 I was into it. Most of the earlier figures where sold for a longer span so I could catch up anyway. Don't know if I'm the only one or did anyone else also realise that earlier figures were sold for around 4 years, even as newer waves were introduced but the later figures were mostly sold only for one year before they were already discontinued. Anyone know why?
After reading all the introductions I can say I'm proud to be the first one from continental Europe. I'm from Vienna, Austria. The fine and beautiful capital of music. Everybody should visit this city at least once in a lifetime. I suggest you do it on your next vacation.
I'm working in the computer department of a large wholesaler here in Austria.
Favorite Joe: A draw between Flint and Falcon (Well after thinking about it for a few minutes I'm leaning more towards Flint, I like his perfect combination of bad ass attitude and commanding skills)
Favorite Cobra: Serpentor (the Cobra Emperor himself, who else :) )
Favorite Food: Wiener Schnitzel!! (Viennese cutlet) (Don't know how to explain it, basically it's fried veal. It tastes great. You can't describe it. If you're interested have a look here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wiener_schnitzel
From what I heard it's international and you can get one almost anywhere in the world.
Favorite Drink: Beer!! (It's perfect to the Schnitzel)
Favorite Game: Mortal Kombat (Yeahh!)
Favorite Music: Techno, House, Hip-Hop
Hobbies (besides GI Joe): My girlfriend ( ;) ), my car (complete with an immense sound system, spoiler, cool headlights) the car sometimes rival with my girlfriend about the number one position ;), hanging around with my friends in various clubs and discos at weekends, girls
Personally speaking I'm an easy going and funny guy. I think you have to be serious the whole day at work, so why be it in your leisure time too?
I'm also a great stand-up comedian, here are two of my momentarily favourites:
Two toothpicks are climbing up a hill. Suddenly they're being overtaken by a hedgehog. Said one toothpick to the other: See, I knew there is a bus going up there. :)
Three boys are playing in the garden, said the first one: My mum is so great she can take a whole roll in her mouth. Said the 2nd: Hah, that's nothing my mum can take half a sandwich in her mouth. Said the last one: Hah, my mum is even better than that. Last night I heard that my father said to my mother: Switch off the TV and take *him* into your mouth. :D
(If this is too offending for anyone I apologise and will, of course, delete it immediately, but I find this joke absolutely hilarious and I think we're mature enough).
So, that's it.
Greetings from Vienna.

Okay I'm done posting pictures for the evening. Time to introduce myself. I've been a long time GI Joe collector (since childhood with the original Joes) and truly enjoyed the "vintage" RAH line. I tried to get into the new 3 3/4" troops but interest faded with the various size inconsistencies. The second "new" version of Scarlett looked like the 1st "new" version's little sister! We'll see if I get back into them with the 25th Anniversary figures.
As far as new dios, most everything is packed up for an eventual move, but I still have a huge bank of pictures to go through.
I've been thinking about favorite characters but it's tricky to narrow them down to at least top fives. I'll work on it.
Fave Joe: Falcon (great attention to detail)
Fave Cobra: Night Vulture (odd colors, but incredible detail)
Fave Joe Jet: Phantom x-19 (slick!)
Fave Cobra Jet: Python Conquest (awesome paint app)
Fave Joe Helo: Tomahawk (just cool)
Fave Cobra Helo: Mamba (awesome rotor blade set up)
Fave Joe Armor: Rolling Thunder (smash 'em up!)
Fave Cobra Armor: HISS (version 1, classic!)
Fave Joe watercraft: Killer Whale (awesome)
Fave Cobra watercraft: Moray Hydrofoil
Overall fave: Defiant Shuttle Complex
Fave Movies: Akira, V for Vendetta, Aliens (just a start...)
I'm really digging JoeDios! I'm here to stay, folks!

This isn't to bust you on the first day. I hope I speak personally for the community well in saying we just prefer that all of us at Joe Dios have segments of posting of around 4-6 photo's in one upload session.
I don't want you to think I or any of us here are unappreciative of effort or your enthusiasm.. as that's not what we want. I'd encourage you to consider narrowing down the upload into short bursts rather than one long 15+ and above shots.
You might wonder why this should matter, I just think if someone has posted one or two before you (especially on TR day) those pictures will undoubtedly get missed by some people.
One final comment before I finish the post. Your a new first time contributor and poster to the site, so this is merely an oversight on your behalf I can appreciate you probably werent aware. Also these are more courtesy guidance rules than actual strict (dont do this or we'll ban your A$$ rules).

I can't upload any pictures, post in the forum, rate pictures. or even use the search feature. I can't do anything accept apparently send PMs. I don't know why my account would be restricted like this. I clicked on a "Contact Us" link on 3 different occassions in the last 2 weeks explaining my situation but recieved no reply or change to my account's access. Yesterday I sent a PM to both Sonneilon and Hammerfel once again explaining this but still no change. It's possible that the PMs were just not getting through. I really love this site and am getting started working on a diostory.
I would really like it if the access to the "Pit Viper" account would be altered so that I can use it once again instead of having to use this new one. I only created this accont because I was at my wit's end trying to get a reply from somebody. Hope this can be achieved.

Alright Pit Viper, you should be all set to go now. We have had some changes to the site (not enough for some members tastes), in order to try and weed out spam-also, since you haven't posted in a while, I think (don't quote me), that you might have cycled into the 'limbo' status........
But I've changed you back to 'member' status. Let me know if it's working and I'll suspend 'Pit Viper v2'
Thanks for your patience and understanding, and welcome back!!!

OK, now for a proper introduction. I was first introduced to G.I. Joe in 1987. My first Joes were Falcon and Sneak Peak. Falcon remains my favorite. I played with G.I. Joe well into junior high school until the line was canceled in '94. I sold off most my collection in 1998 at a garage sale. Then in 2001 I bought the Major Bludd/Rock-Viper (He's Range-Viper to me!) pack and I've been a collector ever since. I first started posting on the Devil's Due forums as mAd HaTtEr2k. My brother and I both thought it was strange that Hasbro never made a figure named "Pit-Viper" so I started using it as my online name in the Joe Community. Later Hasbro of course produced a figure with that name. I like to think they stole the idea from me. :p
I got bored/annoyed with the Devil's Due forum and could no longer afford to purchase the comic book so I started frequenting the Toys News International forums where I continue to post regularly. Recently I started to read the YoJoe message boards more regularly and have returned to JoeDios.Com. I used to post here as simply "Pit Viper" but for some reason it won't let me do anything when I log into that account so from now on here I am "Pit Viper V2".
I recently moved into a HUGEGANTIC 19th Century apartment so I have all kinds of room to dedicate to my collection. I already have a Joe Room (glorified closet) but plan on turing a room in the back into a place where I can display a permanent diorama.

hey all,
well I've been lurking around Joe Dios and posting once in a while off and on for about a year or so. I always wanted to take some good pics of my Joes, but never got a digital camera to do it with.
My sis lent me hers a week ago, and I've taken quite a few pics so far. Its really a lot of fun.
The first set of pics was a small dio I did about a Bat attack on a small GIJoe post. The second set I finished a few days ago was in that Joe hangar. I think I have enough pictures of the bat attack to make a small Dio-story with it. The second set has alot more pictures to it, so Im gonna have to figure out how to make a comic out of it.
I've been messing around with GIMP (the poor man's Photoshop) and it took me about a full day to do one of the pics I posted on the site. You pros are probably laughing at that I know, but im learning as I go, and slowly figuring out how to use stuff like Comic Book Creator to make some really cool stuff.
glad to be here, and thanks for having me!!

Far from laughing, I think that's cool. I don't have Photoshop either, only PhotoDeluxe, but it's amazing what you can do with these "El Cheapo" photo editing software packages if you try. That's how I learnt my craft too, just by experimenting and seeing what each command did. Keep playing around with GIMP, you might surprise yourself with what you can do with a little imagination! ;)

hey guys, My name is John I turned 20 in November, and I am a student at NC State University, I've lived in NC my whole life and I've been heavily collecting Joes for the past 6 or so years. My collection isn't large but I probably have around 250-300 figures and I am currently building a Cobra Army. My favorite characters are Beachhead, SE, and Cover Girl and I have plenty of other ones that I like. I'm also going to be transferring to Wake Forrest Technical to get a degree in Simulation and Game Design, maybe I can get a GI Joe game in the works :D I've been into customizing for a few months and I also collect the DDP comic series. Pics of my collection and various figures to come.
I also love the Punisher if you can't tell by my screen name, I like anime and video gaming as well. Thats all I can think of right now.
I've been looking at the pics on this site and I can only hope I can take great pics like these at some point :D

I joined awhile ago I just didn't have time to do an intro. I've been collecting Joes for awile now can't remember how far back. My favorite band is....well you can figure that part out. My favorite Joe would have to be Mutt.
Oh and Agent Viper sorry dude but I don't have any loose Joes to pass off.
Oh well, another "intro" thread that I was sure I posted :)
But anyway my bio needs updating, so here's up-to-date "what would you want to know about Ion"
I'm 21 so far, and come from Cracow, Poland (by the way Cracow says hello to Wien :)). Quite a long distance from the Joe homeland as you can see
I'm a full time (and I mean FULL now) student of Journalism (3rd year of 5) AND English Philology (1st year of 5 ;)) at the university. Two different to be exact :)
My Joe collecting began aroun '89 or '90 - don't remember exactly, I was around 3 or 4 yrs old back then. First figure was TF Tripwire which I still own, as well as all of my childhood Joes. Up to 1996 - year when they become unavailable in Poland - I managed to collect around 40 figures and 10 vechicles. And then came a long break.
Around 1999 I finally got a LAN connection and wandering through the depths of the internet - I discovered that G.I.Joe collecting is still alive and I sank into it again - at last having opportunity to get all those childhood dreams sets, that I saw in catalogues
Figuring out that making dios is the best thing you can do with your Joes - I'm here (for some time as you can see), and I'm glad that there's such a great place an community :)
Besides Joes - I'm a plastic model maker, huge military fan, skier, biker, rock climber, metalhead and I surely omitted a lot :)

What's up guys. My name is Cory-Allen Castle, I'm 24 and a senior at the University of Kentucky. I grew up an airforce brat and lived on a different base usually shorter than every 6 months(my dad was in intelligence and we were based out of Fort Meade, Maryland, NSA.). The one constant that I had was that no matter wear I ended up as long as I had the coolest joes with me, I knew I'd be fine. Later in life, my dad retired, i went to the same college as him and walked on and played some football and attempted to "grow up" (their is no such thing and if their is there is no reason to so). Now once again, joes are once against forced thankfully back in my life. I just got back from a recent deployment with the airforce myself and I love my joes more than ever. I hate that fact that they lost popularity in the 90's and lost the spotlight. I have tubs full of all my classic joes in the basement but I have latched onto a personal mission to make a modern force of joes that represent our current armed forces into today's day and age. I enjoy the new scuplts and accessories: the newer joes like RAH and the 25th line, and I love to integrate the new style into the old. I just found this site last night and I had no idea this world existed. I was just making my own personal army of detailed troops and creating my own fun scenes that I regretfully made my girlfriend pretend she was intrested in (hehe!). But I think its really enjoyable to share your vision and meet people with the same niche of intrest. I don't have to throw my joes in the closet anymore when my former wildcat football teammates come over; I think dios are extremely fun and a joy to share, thanks for having me.

See, I told ya! A little truth and honesty goes a LONG way towards earning respect and getting the veterans around here to help you out! Can't wait to see what you can do with a cam!
I go by the name Cap, which is short for Capolan, the fictional realm of Nick Bantock's great work, who is also the author of the Griffin and Sabine series.
My name is Eric, which I seem to share with quite a few fellow diorama artisans.
Been married now to another wonderful artisan, for 9 years. Prior to that I was married for 17. I have three kids, 27, 27(not twins, adopted), and 26. As you have guessed, I top the age chart at 47.
I've been doing diorama now for over two decades and counting. I'm a disabled fantasy artisan with a penchant for historical and fantasy portraiture. Been in art schools since grade school, but never worked in the field. Like many, been saddled with IT or computers to make sure the kids and family never went without.
My favorite dioramas to do were always the fantasy miniatures, which allowed me to create worlds from scratch. Whether of my own writing, or the realms of established fantasy(Forgotten Realms, Dragonlance, Lord of the Rings), if I can envision it, I can bring it to three dimensional reality.
I came to Joes through my son, who wanted some sets that were hard to find back in NYC. So I used the talents to make him everything from arctic realms, to covert headquarters.
Having made friends and acquaintences through the Joe hobby, this led to a very fulfilling but hardly lucrative hobby of building sets and terrain for my fellow Joe customizers. It probably all started when I had debuted the Hadley's Hope LV426 ALIENS diorama in which I recreated the township, operations, and environs of the movie for a entire round of my customs based on the movie characters. One thing led to another, and then I was making warehouses, operations rooms, labs, city streets, bridges, all manner of sets for Justin(General Hawk), Camper(dan), and Spin Doctor, all of whom have really great ongoing diostories. Soon thereafter, it was full on years after years of making everything from strip clubs, to entire Arabian and American cities, with full lighting and even shops with full items, such as Wowboy's Springfield City. Doing these were a labor of love, because you don't make much money with it because as I told many of my customers, were I to even charge for time, talent, and paint at minimum wage, no one could afford me. Also, doing this sometimes can often make you appear like a Foley Artist, where the actors and actresses get full credit, but the sound people are never mentioned or remember. Thankfully, a great many of the longer customers are pointing all eyes in this direction when people have stated
"Where on Earth did you get THAT???" Others like Wowboy, and Jedsoon, have always shared where they get their diorama. His Large Army Joe film won an award at an international film convention, and he sent me a news clipping from his local township, with a picture from the movie with my dio in it. That was very much a surprise.
Just recently I did a great back office and hallway for the JCW wrestling gents, and right now, for my good buddy and fellow Sword of Shannara reader, I am making backgrounds of the environs from the books, such as the castle interiors shown before.
Since I have been doing architectural projections for hobby for over 20 years, I brought that aspect to the hobby, years ago, where you apply specialized papers to commercial foamboard via adhesives, thus creating some very realistic looking sets. Since then, it has been growing in leaps and bounds. Sadly, one of my fellow friends in the Joe community was making a prediction that set building may be replaced in future years with digital bacgrounds, like those one can make in programs such as Vue, and Bryce. I hope not, because the hands on love of doing sets and terrain is passion, which I have loved sharing with many here and elsewhere for a long time.
Until then, I am just honored and happy to be amongst other set builders and fellow artisans.

I've been a Joe fan as long as I can remember. I've always had them around, as my dad is military so I grew up with those ideals in mind.

Hello all, My name is Mike.
I live in San Antonio, Texas. I have always been a huge fan of GiJoe, about a year ago I stumbled into the TriState forum. I saw a picture of Viloentfix's massive army builders and Dio's, and I was hooked.
If I remember my first major score on ebay was 12 Motor Vipers. "Sorry if I outbid somoen on that here!"
I think I am up to 60 now. I also have 112 TRU Vipers. My goal is 100 Motor Vipers, and I want to build a custom Terror Drome from Scratch.
My goal is to have it built by 2009. I want to take it to the Convention for display. "It's nice to have goals!" LOL! :p
I am also working on 2 dios right now.
Oh yeah, plus I work a full time job, full time student, married w/2 kids, and I work approximately 8 hours as an intern at Lackland Air Force Base office of History and research.
I truely do not get enough sleep! LOL! :)
I welcome any feedback on my pictures I supply here.

Here goes nothing.
I'm Kurt, and I'm one of the young'uns here at being 16 (But I have an old soul  ) . My first action figures were the POTF2 Star Wars figures back in 1995/1996. I still collect Star Wars figures, as they have improved greatly over the years, I just wish I could find the new waves as they come out. I also was a huge Beast Wars fan. I now regret selling most of them :( . I got into joe stuff in 2002. I soon had a small collection. Then I discovered the superior vintage figures through the internet. My Joeverse at first took shape towards the Diostories people had on the net at the time, mostly General Hawk's. This was the only joe "media" I had to work with. Now I've read some of the marvel series and understand it all more.
As for me, I'm currently a student, I have all A's right now. I have a few friends, but none of them know about my hobby. I spend my free time here, taking pictures for the site, customizing figures, and of course playing with my figures. :D

Saw this a while ago, but I just got around to posting on it. Good idea Ender. My name is Jon Pflug and I'm from Queens, New York. I'm 19 years old and am currently attending college at St. John's University. I'm undecided at school, but I'm probably going to declare myself a criminal justice major soon in the hopes that I may one day be an F.B.I. agent or a lawyer. (Maybe both)
I could best describe myself as an outgoing person who can be a bit crazy at times (Case in point, I am currently auctioning the right to cut my hair in any style the winner wants). I'm a former baseball and hockey player for my high school and travel teams until injuries caught up with me (I tore a labrum in my right shoulder while playing hockey and now I can't throw anymore or play contact hockey due to it still not being 100% repaired). I can still golf and play intramural sports at school since neither affects my shoulder much, so I'm still active with those things.
I've been collecting Joes my entire life, taking breaks to either collect other things (I got caught up with almost any other action figures or collectible card game from recent memory) in the interim. I can't remember a time in my life where I haven't been a collector of one thing or another. I always seem to be drawn back to G.I. Joe. They were my favorites as a kid when I used to play with the other kids on my block when I was little. When it relaunched in 2002, I began a new era in my collecting since most of my figures were in poor shape or lost and began a more intact collection that has been steady from that time. I had been on a few other message boards before I stumbled upon this one (Joecustoms, TNI, and Tri-State) and became engrossed in the premise. I really enjoy setting up photos and hope to one day put together a dio-story when I get a better grasp of photoshop. Even though I am dorming at school now, I try to get a few photos to take every time I return home to keep myself active on the site. I'm glad I found a place to showcase my work and has such a great community of posters. My time on the site has been great and I plan on continuing being an active member of the site.

Well I guess it's time for me to introduce myself. Hi I'm Dash... I MEAN... Dan!!!-LOL :D But you can call me Flint!!! :D I've been into G.I.Joe before they where even 3 3/4. I'm 35 & Married to one Beautiful Lady (you might say she's my Lady J) & we just had a baby recently. I'm into Sci-fi (especially Star Trek) & Toy collecting.
I've been Friends with General Scarlett since I was 4 yrs old & we've been into the Real American Heroes for the past 25 years, making up our own Joeverse every step of the way and we are still doing it today thanks to Joedios!!!:D
I have been having a Great time on the site & my only complaint is I wish I had more time to spent on it, but I try to get on as much as I can.
Scarlett & I are currently working on a story for the dios & getting all our info. together for our Joeverse post it's taking longer then we thought to get it all together, cause we have 25 years of stories to get out there!!! :D
Thanks for letting me enjoy this site & I hope you all enjoy my work, I have definately enjoyed all of yours!!! :D

Suppose i should say Hi
So hi my name is Erik, I'm sort of new to a lot of Joe collecting and custom things i mean I've never had more then 10 joes at any one time and when i hit 16 two years ago i sorta gave them all away telling my self "Their toys and you should stop playing with toys". boy am i slapping my self for that now. any way i'm a major Cobra fan and i have my first major project in the works as a Cobra Sub-carrier on scale with the 3.75 joes. Need to get a hold of some Viper to crew it and a rattler to scale the launch deck but yea. also I'm an aspiring writer and took the time to write up a short story about little "Neo-Cobra" group.

My name is David, I am 39 (am I the old fart here?), married with 4 daughters. My 2 youngest collect GI Joe & Star Wars figures just like their daddy. I collect pre-1990 Joes & Vintage Star Wars figures. I have been making & selling Dioramas for years, some of my work can be seen here. (http://darthcobra.com) I stumbled on this site a while back & have been lurking around checking out all the cool shots. I have photographed my dioramas, but nothing like I have seen here. I finally got the nerve to try it out & posted some pictures, thanks for all the kind words so far. This is a awesome site & look forward to being a part of it!

Hi! I'm still alive! Apologies for just dropping off the face of the earth, what happened was that I suddenly started working 9 to 5 (went into a kind of shock :)) but I'm hoping to make time soon to post some pictures again. I've still been checking in to look at pics, but really haven't had time to do more than that. Many times I've wanted to comment on the awesome work that can always be seen here. Hello to all my old friends here and hi too to everyone I haven't met yet. I was a bit disappointed with the articulation on many of the new joes, but I'm determined to do some cool pics with them, and believe it or not, I actually got the cobra troops to hold their dragonovs properly!
Enough from me, just wanted to say hi, and that I've missed being here with you all.

Hey all,
I'm Dave, and I take pictures. I'm on the tfw2005.com boards, and hisstank.com forums as Autobot Dave.
I put most of my backgrounds in with Photoshop, but have been itchin' to try and put things in more realistic settings. I'd like to even do a dio-story one day, just to see if I could pull off a good one. That'll have to wait though, as time seems to be at a premium lately.
My favorite character has long been Flint (first G.I. Joe, too). I love the 25th version, though I'm one of those ungrateful putzes that'd love him to have the rolled-up sleeves and gloves. I want the gloves as an homage, but as a bonus, they'd also get rid of those all-to-obvious forearm cuts.
I suppose that's about as controversial as I get when it comes to G.I. Joe :)
I like the more "real" aspects of G.I. Joe, so I pick up the occasional BBI vehicle, which I'm sure'll make it into some of my pics. I'm also lookin' into picking up some Marauder stuff.
General Scarlett pointed me this way, so it's all her fault if my stuff makes your eyes bleed :D
Have fun, everyone!!!

What the deuce?! I know I've done this here before, but I can't find it, so here I am again! :D
Name: Skot Alderman aka "Sephron13" on pretty much every Joe board
DOB: 05/13/81
Place: Geneva, OH
Occupation: 3rd Shift Supervisor for a teleradiology company in Cleveland, OH
Hobbies: GIJoe, Transformers, video games, comics, drawing, writing, movies
I've been into GIJoe since I was 6. For my birthday that year, I received Roadblock (v2), Falcon, Monkeywrench, Viper, and the Road Toad. I was hooked and became a junkie! Back then, I had just about everything that came out. I wish I would've kept them in better condition, but I was a kid and I played with them constantly (outdoors, in the shower, at the beach, etc). After they faded away, I stayed with my toy geekiness, getting into X-Men figures and the new Star Wars line. Beast Wars repiqued my interest in TFs again and soon, the GIJoe vs. Cobra line would begin and it was love all over again. Completed my JvC, ST, VvV, DTC collections and picked up a bunch of ARAH stuff on ebay (that I once had!). Now, I'm celebrating with the 25th and I've already amassed a sizable Cobra army and am all caught up thus far!
I'm starting work (or restarting work) on a dio entitled "The Thirteen Agenda". I had posted 3 parts of it over a year ago or so, and I'm starting from scratch, using some of the 25th figures, as well as reworking a lot of the plot. I'll be posting preview pics and whatnot soon!

Place of Birth: Bogota, Colombia, South America. Age: 3x. Grade: Professional.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I've been "messing" with the GI Joes since 1986, when a friend of my Mom brougth from the US a Zandar and a BAT figures to me. Immediatly I drop off my He-Man and Secret Wars figures to the second place. He also gave me a Robby Junior RC Robot (I will put some pic of it soon).
Zandar became my Rambo / Rocky character, of which I am fan, until BigBoa took his place. I love helicopters; I do have the Tomahawk, a BBI Blackhawk and Little Bird. Rigth now I don't have them with me, so pics will have to wait.
GI goals? The Terrordrome. Wetsuit, Storm Shadow v1 and so others.
I am not a fan of the 25A joes. I just like their accesories.

Hello my joe fetish connoisseurs!
My name is Paul, 33, have a 8 year old son and a 7 year old daughter and an amazing wife. We're in Surrey, BC, Canada.
Started collecting the 25th anny line about a month ago. Local niche store has wave 1 - 4 fully stocked, plus wave 1 of the comic packs.... so we've been hording up. Thank god for the small independant toy stores - cause in Canada you can't get any joes at major stores, they simply do not carry them.
I grew up with GI Joe right from the get-go in 82 and stopped in 86. Had pretty much everything - would buy it all with my paper route money ;-) But sadly I no longer have any of it... so I bought my son a Tomahawk and Hiss tank off yojoe forum members so he's set for awhile.
My son and I are huge into Lego - you can see some of our award winning creations (won awards at shows etc) at our website http://qualzone.com/lego5 if you feel like taking a gander. Close-frame photography has been a little hobby of mine for the past few years, and that site shows some of my capabilities.
My son and I are building our own diorama - so we'll post some pics of the creation process - and we can't wait to show some action shots.
I've enjoyed some of the great pictures on this site... amazing framing, lighting and action angles - so I thought I'd join and say hi.
Cheers! ~ Paul.

Okay, now that everyone is doing this introduction thing I decided to shed the light and contribute as well...cos' why the heck not... :D and its always fun to be the newbie/noob of the site
My name is Tommi aka EasySimpleStuff, and I'm from Finland (yes, its way up north, and freezing in here)
I'm 27 and recently (thank God!) started working as an consultant, since being a security guard with a BBA in International Business and Marketing just didnt ring right...
I first bumped into Joes since 85-86, cant really remember which one was it, but I had bunch of joes then. And like some of you, "stopped" collecting and playing with them when it was not cool anymore (and Hasbro started using neon colors). Also girls, beer and other typical young man stuff started to get into the way of my Joe collecting. :p
Luckily I got (really) back into this hobby a year ago, after seeing Violenfix's and General Joes dios on the internet. Now dont get me wrong, I had been taking care of my joes over the years, fixing/cleaning etc. but never really did more than that.... now I'm again back to collecting.
I' ve been "lurking" in different sites related to Joes, but never really posted anything (as I'm too lazy for that) but decided to make myself noted here, just for you guys to know I'm around...
My hobbies include, besides Joes, Wado-Ryu Karate (almost 15 years), movies, beer (man, I like beer!), women, PS2 (I'm saving for PS3) partying / having fun etc. and occasionally giving self-defence classes (does it count as a hobby if you're getting paid  )...but maybe not in that particular order. Oh, and stakes...I like stakes :D Maybe too much, as I'll probably die of a heart failure or sumthing when I'm 50.
So all in all I look forward of everyones conrtibution, (as there are some awesome stuff here) and maybe I'll even get my lazy behind up and do something myself too...as I'm currently working and playing with and idea of a Cobra safehouse or Dreadnok hideout (dont know which direction to go yet) done into an old doll house frame...

Well guess its my turn, I've been on the site for about a month now
I go by the online name Haradrel, real name Tommy. From Norway and started collecting "Action Force" as it was called here when I was a kid (which would be in the late 80's early 90's). Sold most of them off when I was growing up. But started collecting the comic books from devils due when they appeared, slowly I got interested in the Joe universe again and just recently (like right after Christmas) I saw the 25th line for the first time and decided it was time to go get some new Action Figures!
I've trained martial arts continually since I was 4, but have had a break now for 2 years, I airsoft and collect loads of weird and unique items.
I also have the same birthday as General Scarlett  (yes that was quite random).
If anybody is wondering about anything else just give me a PM, I don't bite unless you ask me too :p

Ok, not sure how many good pics I'll be able to post from here on out (I had to go and put one up I probably won't be able to top), but wanted to quick intro, at least.
Don and Rich I already know :D, the rest of you I know only from following a link from another board and seeing your great diostories and pics here. It took a while to get up the nerve to post a pic after seeing everyone else's. :p
For those of you I haven't dealt with, I'm Pat, Patrick, or as most other board members end up calling me, "Orion". Long story short, Orion Lukteel was a comic book character I helped flesh out for a small independent comic book company back when comics were IT. 3 million variant covers later, the market's a lot smaller. But the development sketches and character stories are still rattling around, jonesin' to be in a webcomic.
I've been collecting since '84, and have a full garage to show for it. Also have MANY, many vehicle shells, so if any of you need a shell for a dio, ask, I probably have one. (Night Boomers, Dreadnok Assaults, etc aren't available, apologies) ;)
Looking forward to seeing more of your work and posting more!

Hello all! I had signed up awhile ago but hadn't really had time to post here.
Believe me I had been occasionally popping in to view all of the great pics and stories. I really enjoy the ongoing Joe/Transformer story great stuff!
About me; currently in Okinawa Japan serving the worlds finest military, havent owned a joe figure in quite some time but have never lost my love for the Joe universe. I do own all of the comic books, most of them (except for the new DD series) are comfortably locked away in the states.
I hope noone minds me just coming here viewing the awesome job that you all do. I have alot of great ideas for dio's but I am just a big fan with no toys :(
Keep up the great work, this site has been on of the highlights of my deployments!

I second that -- seems that this spring is quite the time for new members!
I'll also add that everyone is also encouraged to post comments on other people's pics/dios, even ones from way back in the archives. I'm sure I'm not alone in liking it when I discover new comments on my earlier shots! Not that I have much in the way of CURRENT ones...!
