Mister Don Levine Has Passed Away.

It is with a heavy heart that we report the passing of Mr. Don Levine, one of the original creators of the 12" G.I.Joe Action figure. If it were not for the work and vision of Mr. Levine, the Modern Army Action Figure that we know and love wouldn't be what it is today. Word of Mr. Levine's passing comes to us via the G.I.Joe Collectors Club Facebook Page. On behalf of everyone here at Hisstank.com, we send our condolences to his family, friends and associates. Services are to be held at Temple Beth-El in Providence, Rhode Island. We welcome you to join us after the break to discuss all things 12" G.I.Joe and to share your respects. Rest in Peace, Mr. Levine. Thank you for everything you've done for all of us! On the 50th Anniversary of the line he helped to create no less...
Being able to see the (immense) ripple-effect of your work for a half-a-century is quite the career accomplishment. |
