Jungle Firefly shot
I was asked how I did this ... so here it is. I shoot all of my indoor shots in a light tent:
The tent diffuses the light so you don't get as much shine on the plastic figures. I use 2 sometimes 3 natural light daylight fluorescent bulbs (the soft white ones add to much yellow to the picture). The back of the tent is black, so this is perfect for a night shot.
For the grass I use Woodland Scenic field grass in various colors. These have been hot glued to wood bases so they can stand up.
I use this grass in alot of my shots, and normally cover the bases with turf gass. Here the bases will be below the frame, so there is no need to. I set the grass up, with my camera on so I can see how it looks (this is not exact to my picture because I took this all down, then reset it up for this how-to, but you get the idea).

Firefly had to kneel because of the angle I wanted, but this is not noticable in the picture:
Eveything is set up, again with my camera on to see how it looks. This shot is wide for reference, but I would normally be right on top of it with the macro on:
I turn the right light off, because I wanted the light coming from the upper left corner where I was going to put the moon. Everything is adjusted and take the picture:
Again this is not exact because I reset this up (the grass on the left was lower, because that was where I was going to put the moon). I am still using Photo Explosion which is pretty limited on its editing options. I did adjust the lighting a little. I added a moon I googled:
The moon tint was adjusted to the color I wanted, blurred and adjusted the best I could. Photo Explosion has a cloud overlay that I added for a little more coolness. Hope this helped.
