Default How to Build a Wood Pallet.

Some of you had wondered how I built the Wooden Pallet. First I picked up a Small Mider saw at the hobby shop for about $10 bucks.

I grabbed a few pieces of thin wood from the Hobby Shop that is about the size of what a 2x4 would be at that scale. I took a figure to the store to get an Idea.

I cut the wood into 3" strips to use to simulate about 4 foot long pieces of wood that is the right size for a pallet which is 4'x4'.

Most pallets that arrive at my work have 4 strips on the bottom with 2 next to each other in the middle.

3 sticks of wood on there side create the middle section and then you put 6 strips nearly even spaced along the top.

And that is it. The great thing is that all the strips of wood are 3 inches long and if it is not perfect, no two pallets are the same and the wood is usually messed up so you can use pretty sad looking pieces of wood.

I've put together about 5 so far. I might bring some extras with me tothe Con in KS this year to maybe do some trading with. I plan on making about 30 or so for a scene I want to shoot for a dio story I have been writing. after that maybe get rid of a few.
