Hi I'm AC. I am an avid collector of all things 25th and Beyond. I'm 39 from Western New York and I got my first figure in 1984. Once the Joes started looking life like, I was completely hooked again. I have been a member of this group for a long time, though recently, I have had some difficulty being able to upload pictures for some reason. I'm also a big fan of the comic, and I have met Larry Hama on three separate occasions. I have my flag, along with my # 1 comic, along with my Silent Issue, along with a bunch of MIP figures autographed by the man himself. My attic has become a Joe studio with dioramas I have been building for the past 5 years. I've been taking videos and explaining my custom displays, along with my favorite part of it, my custom figures. I really enjoy finding resin head sculpts, and putting my acrylics to work. I have just about customed in some shape or form every one of my 150 loose characters. We won't start talking about numbers with my MIP's. I say characters because for me that's where it all starts. Each character has a storyline, a background, a military position and calling and I find that to be the best part. I'm a High School English teacher, so it is just natural for me to have that perspective, I suppose. I love setting my figures up, taking videos or pictures, with a storyline in mind. I am married with two children, a boy and a girl, and both are interested in playing with my Joes. It wasn't much of a surprise that my son climbed on board, but when my daughter saw her beautiful girls, Scarlet, Lady Jaye, CoverGirl, and Bomb strike, she was hooked too. Although, she likes to play a more domesticated version of the story, but whatever. It's a great nostalgic Hobby, that I have grown to really enjoy and this website has been a huge part of it. I hope we can keep it rolling for a long time to come.
