Remembering 1986 is a little tough. But I have these '86-ish memories:
*A buddy & I biked to Walmart, which was not close. I distinctly remember the BAT on the pegs, with that "hologram" chest. Bought him, and Flint & Bazooka, I think.
*Around my birthday, we were in a party supply store that carried toys. It's a little hazy, but I either walked out with the HAVOC & the Night Raven, or got the Raven later.
*Favorite story: I saved enough money from mowing lawns that summer to buy the TERROR DROME! Had to ask my mom for a ride to Service Merchandise, and we bought it. Barely fit in the car. One of my best purchases ever.
