Since I gotten some comments on my background from this photo (http://www.joedios.com/dioramas/showimage.php?i=6008&c=7&orderby=lastpostdateline&direction=DESC&cutoffdate=-1) thought I could show everyone what it really looks like. In reality it looks like this.....

First let's start with what I call the frame. This was actually part of a dresser drawer. You may remember it from this photo (http://www.joedios.com/dioramas/showimage.php?i=4097&catid=member&imageuser=183) or this one (http://www.joedios.com/dioramas/showimage.php?i=3815&catid=member&imageuser=183). Next step is add dirt (sand in this case) rocks and plant life. The plants here are onion plants. I also got a bag of moss around Halloween time and it works pretty good. It's pretty simple and if need be you can move things around to change it up.
I built for my Star Wars dio for two reason one I didn't want to take photos in the snow, and two I needed a somewhat alien plant.
I've seen other members do this sort of thing before, and it thanks to them that I got this idea.
