Custom Speed Bike / Swoop

[Blowtorch]

Here's the first Star Wars custom I made today. Also pictured is another custom coat for a Rebel Trooper. Actually it's for the Star Wars comic story I'm working that is taking place after Revenge of the Sith. This is my version of the Rebel Alliance during the early years.

Did you know that Rebel Trooper's head is sculpted after a Hasbro employee, whose face was also put on the original Heavy Duty back in 1991.

I'm not much of a Star Wars fan but I must say that Speeder Bike is the best use for that original Ninja Lightning bike I've ever seen.

Cool I didn't know that about the Rebel Trooper. Thanks for the comment about the speeder bike. The Ninja Lighting bike was broken beyond repair. I'm glad now I didn't throw it out.

I thought about the stolen E-11, but I'm more looking at the early years of the Rebel Alliance. I may just stick with what he has now only because he's only in a few panels. My other option is that the Alliance uses watever weapons they can gather.

That would be very reasonable. You could read some Clone Wars Adventures comics to get some inspiration. They are really, really nice to read.

I send my Republic Commando Delta Squad to a planet where the Separatist where developing some "new weponary". Cobra BATs became new advanced droids and the Marauder marine pulse rifle is now a "new prototype weapon". And my Scorch fig is using one, since his weapon run out of ammo.

I would like if you keep me updated with your dio. It's a great idea for a SW dio. Maybe Mom Motha and Bail Organa can show up, since those 2 senators helped to build the Rebel Alliance.

You won't see the swoop in the one I'm working on now, but I'm sure everyone will enjoy it . Mon Motha and Bail Organa won't be in this dio, but it's a great idea for something else down the line.

Your pattern of reasoning:
This toy (Ninja Lightning) is broken. What can I do with the parts to make an even cooler new toy?

My usual pattern:
NOOOOOOOOOO! This can't be broken. NOOOOOOOOO! Then later... Maybe I can fix this with epoxy or some type of adhesive. Then eventually sliding it over to a corner of my workbench with more broken parts, under the rationale that I will age them into props or backgrounds for a dio that may or may never happen.

Well done and way to integrate that Bazooka/plasma cannon weapon (yes I know that's not the technical term for it) onto the side of your speeder.

I just did, he doesn't know if it's permanent or not because no one will return his emails ( I believe it was to the Admin ) and General Scarlett has no clue either. I read some of his past post looks like he gave away some major Joe stuff for free. So I'm :confused: why he can't get an answer back. I guess the powers to be don't want him here.

Ok, I'm really getting tired of being people's whipping post. As I stated to Blowtorch, I DO NOT know why he was banned, he would have to ask the other 'powers that be' -yes, oddly there are others (I seem to be the only one who gets shiat on by members of this site, even though I'm the only one who's 'minding the shop' and leaving all of you alone to do and say what you want, for the most part)- I have sent correspondances to those others and am awaiting a response............

I'm sorry if you thought I was (as you put it) shiating on you. Blowtorch actually thinks highly of you, aside from what you think. You take alot of pride and ownership where it seems to lack. It's the nature of the beast when you're as active as you are to be the "whipping post" You should be commended. Sorry for the misunderstanding. I normally don't get into these things, but it's kinda of a lousy thing for the other "mods" to sit in silence while you (GS) are going above and beyond with this site and taking heat when it comes. Awesome job as a mod, and if you haven't heard this before Thank You for doing such a great job.

Uh, yeah...he gave away some major stuff for free. He adverstised he was giving it away, asked who wanted it, asked who thought they deserved it......then after everyone gave him their input, he came off all high and mighty saying "See how I'm everyone's friend when I have free stuff !!!"

He acted like everyone on this site hated him because he didn't recieve like 50 responses for every pic he took. He chastised those of us who are friends and comment on each others work like we are a "Clique" that had black balled him. He tried to turn this site into a popularity contest.

I asked Graham (Sonnelion) and this was his Reply as to why he banned Allen;

"Part of it had to do with that set-building thread. The lil sniping and whining in the thread. I told him to stop sniping GS and he was like NO. "

When an Admin tells you to do something, you have the RIGHT to say no...but you accept the responsibility that you could be banned!

Allen had some great talents.....people skills and socialization were not some of them!

What no one knows about is that some members had PMed him and offered bribes to get some of those free items. I wonder if any of them are going to step up. Has anyone else ever offered to give away hard to find items for free. BlowTorch could never just do good for the sake of doing good....he had to be praised for everything. Were he really "All Dat" he would have just been generous and shut up about it. He HAD to TELL EVERYONE how gracious and giving he is/was. I tell people I give stuff away, but I don't go into detail about what or to who. They wanna know, they can ask around...I do it so people will know I'm a straight shooter,I'm honest, NOT so people will praise and Exault me!

And I HIGHLY doubt anyone offered to bribe him (except maybe the troll aka nightcreeper) because Blowtorch was so high on his own moral superiority he would have called them out. He wasn't above acting superior and trying to shame other forum members who he was jealous of....or wanted to be like....or wanted to date....I dunno what his problem was with a lot of us. He acted like a pompous @$$ and then got mad when no one wanted to be his friend and talk to him! I honestly think he had some sort of social affective disorder! I think he needed therapy.

He had this juvenile need to be not only accepted, but worshipped, and if you didn't do it, he acted like you were slime. I forgot to thank him once for something extra he sent me (I got a Ton of stuff the same day and it all got mixed in together..and I was busy that week...I have a thousand reasons why I forgot, but not a good excuse) But rather than be cool and say "Hey, did you get that extra stuff I sent ya", he drug me out in the forums and acted all high and mighty like he was the fricken ettiquite Police! He was the main reason I left here for a while. I had no intention on coming back, but friends told me "Don't let the bastiches get you down"....and I didn't! I took a hiatus, collected my thoughts and returned!

You're right Luis didn't win that stuff. If you're so interested in BlowTorch and been reading his posts and KNOW him, you should know that OF ALL Things! Luis hated him and unlike most of us on here who couldn't stand him, and just Tolerated him, LUIS would let him know in no uncertain terms. No one here liked the guy, we just tolerated him. What your intrest in him is escapes my logic. unless you're him. If you're not drop it, let this thread, and his memory die and good riddance to whiners IMHO!

I guess there a few people here with BIG EGOS. As far as bribes goes it was more than the troll (that you stated many times you hooked up talk about praise :rolleyes: ) but believe what you want. I joined Aug 10 before Allen Blowtorch was bann. He was bann last week (instead of shooting you mouth off maybe check your facts first it was stated earlier in the post.) Now with that said I'll be the bigger man here and walk away from this before my IQ drops to your level.

Here's the deal. If people can't follow the rules, they are banned. Sure, they might get a few warnings BUT if the mod/administrator specifically asks them to knock crap off and the recepient says NO, they are automatically banned. Is it that hard to understand?
