I agree. Ender put up a ressource topic full of online stores that sell GIJoe products, and I know for a fact that many of them have Cobra army builders. You're 19 (or so you say), so grow a spine and start looking for stuff yourself instead of asking everyone.

I have the whole collection from 1982 - 1988. In 89, I missed a wind up toy (scuba pack) and I got most of the 1990 collection. From 1991-2000, I just bought what I liked. I started collecting again hardcore about 2002. With the Exception of Zap v1 and Rock-N-Roll v1 they are all originals. (I had to get a new RNR and ZAP cause their darn thumbs broke!)

I kept all of my childhood toys. At least as far as GI Joe went.

(I wish I had that V1 Boba Fett I gave my cousin years ago...and i still want my Shogun Warriors Godzilla back! I miss him! :( . )

Seriously, you need to lighten up a bit. That's why I'm here and not over on YoJoe or other boards, they are way too uptight! This little community here is like family, and they're not exclusive. They welcome anyone to include obsessive/compulsive oddballs like me.

And as you can see, a lot of people don't like to participate and the only way to keep this post at the top of the list is to keep posting (even if it's just fooling around) until someone decides to post their collection. I mean I posted about what people liked and hated about Dios (which is what I THOUGHT everyone here was interested in) but the thread died quick because no one here wanted to keep it going. Take off all the BS I and the rest of the crew posted here and how many actual posts deal with the subject the thread started with? People don't wanna show their collections! Why? I don't know....the reasons are theirs, but getting ticked because they aren't posting isn't gonna make you any friends.

Gotta liven these boards up somehow! It's not like DTC wave 4, 5 and 6 are coming out or HAsbro is gonna totally revamp the 3 3/4 inch line, and to be quite honest, if I hear one more mention of the "25th-Crap-aversary" stuff (that now I hear is Sgt Savage size!) I'm gonna hurl!

What else is there to talk about? Hell, I TRY to throw up 3-5 new threads a week, but for those of us who have been here a year or more, it's the same old stuff....so why not cut up a bit?

You've got the right to be upset, because the posts have gone a little off topic from the thread, but at least it's keeping the thread you're interested in at the top of the list so.......relax....... ;)

I feel like a jerk posting off-topic, mostly because I admin so many forums and often have to get on people for doing exactly that... :D

Personally, I have a whole bunch of Joes -- not NEARLY as many as many people here, I think, but getting together all of my Cobra troops in one shot (heck, ten shots) would be ridiculous. Not only that, I just wouldn't have time to set it up.

My own site is a lot like this; there are a few topics people tend to focus on, but really, it's a bunch of friends just interacting. Real community isn't about staying on topic, it's about people who share similar interests but have unique points of view to share -- which doesn't happen if there are thread nazis hanging around! ;)
