Cobra Radar Relay Station

During the 1980s G.I. Joe got into the kids cereal thus creating G.I. Joe Action Stars. Along with sending away for figures with a pop (proof of purchase) the back of the boxes had a free cut out display piece. You simply cut out folded and taped together. You could actually have dozens of these little pieces depending on how many boxes of cereals you could eat. They go great with the Cobra Missile Command Center. Well now thanks to D&J Toys you can print out as many of these as you like for free you can relive those moments as a kid. There were 3 cut outs originally and D&J plans to release all 3. Each box had a mission briefing mentioning the device being used. Usually you and the Joe on the front of the box were selected for the mission. The Radar Relay Station was used to jam G.I. Joe communications so the Joe team could not listen in on Cobras plans.

Molecular Transporter

The second cereal box cut out is up at D&J Toys the Molecular Transporter. It has the power to change certain metals to gold. Stolen by the Dreadnoks they kidnap a fellow Joe scientist to help figure out the device. You and Gung Ho must stop them at all costs.

VIZION (Visibility-Zero Infrared Offshore Navigator)

The third and final Action Stars Cereal cut out is the VIZION it was released on the box with Ship Wreak. The VIZION is basically what the name describes it navigates through fog and poor visibility. A little bulky to carry around it is a stationary device used on boats and aircraft.

Special thanks to Formbx257 for posting the VIZION on facebook and on his youtube site.

The Joe scientist's name was Lab Rat. Decades later, no Lab Rat figure!

Yeah, I'd like a Modern Era version of Ship Wreak. Matter of fact, I'd like to see the original version as well.

I remember that radar screen third one. I remember having it and finding it later and then asking, "Where did this thing come from, it's neat?!"
