What type of camera does everyone use to photograph their Joes?

I use to have a Canon Power Shot A540, then it broke, so now I "upgraded" to a Canon Power Shot A1000 IS - it's only about 2 1/4" X 3 1/4" X 1" and cost around $100 give or take $20. It takes okay pics, but it's hard to get my foreground and background Joes in focus together. My old Pentax 35mm was sweet - too bad it broke also - plus with everything digital these days....

Someday I'd like to get a nice digital SLR (single lens reflect) with a zoom lens and light difuser and all of that, but $ don't grow on trees....

I currently use a Nikon D3100 with a SU-800 Commander and two SB-800 Slaves. My lens of choice is the Nikor 200mm. I also have a SB-400 as a spare flash.

My back-up is a Sony A230, but I'm trying to sell it right now.

I use a Nikon D5000. I have a few different lens but my latest one is the 40mm Macro that Nikon just put out. I also just got a SB-700 that I have yet to figure out how to use. I hope to start getting some pictures taken soon. I have so little time with my new job to even check this site more then about once a week.

I use a Fujifilm Finepix S100FS, though someday I will upgrade to a true DSLR.
