From other comments & pics it's easy to see that many of us collect more than GI Joes -- I thought I'd start a thread especially for showcasing pictures from our other favourite toy lines! If I got the HTML right, I should be starting it off here:

<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/stormer/349774727/" title="Photo Sharing"><img src="http://farm1.static.flickr.com/165/349774727_9cafb291ba_o.jpg" width="900" height="658" alt="Avengers Assembled" /></a>

This is all the Marvel Legends I have who've been Avengers, less my Black Widow, War Machine and Sandman who're at a friend's place (along with my Modern Iron Man and green 1st Appearance Hulk who I'd have preferred using). But I have no idea when I'm likely to get those figures back and I wasn't going to wait!

Not exactly a diorama, although I'll probably try some outside when it stops raining here (next month at this rate).

I'm not even a Joe collector anymore. I buy what I think I need for a dio. And in a way, almost everything that is my 3.75" collection, I'm willing to sell for the right price. Just ask Lord Raven!!! Now, I do dabble in other toys; Microman, Alien Racers, Spiderman toys, and now, CyberUnits. 1 thing I am NOT into is TF. I just can't get back into them. I guess I like my robots looking like anime, not robots. lol.

GI joe is the main thing of course, but then there's Nascar diecast (1,000+), and trading cards, mostly Marvel, some DC, Image, sport, etc (almost 20,000 cards all up), plus civil war relics and photographs. Then there's the wife's Beanie Babies (too many to count). No wonder we have no storage space left!

I collect a lot of star wars. I think I am addicted. A V-wing is coming out this year.

About robots -- Sonn, do you like robotech? I think I recall you saying you weren't into gundam?

MS-18E Kampfer is my favourite, The MSZ-006A1/C1 Zeta Plus rules, Gundam sentinel are all great designs,I love all the mechs from chars counter attack sazabi, nu gundam etc. And the gerbera tetra from ?, --ok, enough gundam. :)

Outrider, in the end those beanie babies are going to have to fight it out with your joes for possession of the house. :D

As you already know, I collect some Transformers-- Mostly just Masterpiece and Alternators/Binaltech (and now Classics!). I also have a ton of Marvel Legends, Spider-Man Classics, etc. Otherwise, I just pick up what jumps out at me here and there, like the occasional DC Direct figure.

Things I used to collect include the now-cancelled Masters of the Universe revival, Sota's Street Fighter line (yeah, technically it's still going, but when you haven't produced anything in a year, I put you in the "used to" category till I see something new), some Dragonball Z figures. I'm sure there's more that I can't think of right now.

Silencer-- I have a few Gundam models from a few years ago. I love all the Zeon suits. I have a Gouf, a Zaku I, and a Zaku II. Plus some of the little Gundam action figures they made when the shows were on Cartoon Network. Too bad you can't wander into Toys R Us and find Gundam stuff there anymore.

ok my turn.....

I have collected action man for awhile now, mostly the comics but I do have a number of the figures and sets. I also collect different types of bigfoot, yeti, and anything in a reference to that, like the figures from marvel legends, alpha flight, and a few other figure lines that have bigfoot figures. I did collect the galidor lego line when it was out, but I was never able to get all of them, I'm missing about tow of the american release sets and the two australian exclusives, oh and I'm aslo missing the comics that came out with the line aslwell. thats about it for me.

In an unprecedented move, Hawk, Cobra Commander and Destro have formed an uneasy alliance to eliminate the common enemy of the dreaded storage space devouring Beanies. Maybe I could turn it into a dio story... :D

My main collection is G.I. Joe. I buy other lines like SW, Marvel, when I think the figs look cool. But, my coin is specifically going towards Joes these days, that is untill the day they come out with BSG figs...

I have a nice SW Lego collection. I collect some SW stuff (most of which will be seeing ebay soon) that I like; I really don't get to hard core into it. I have found a liking for the starfighters and their respective Jedi pilots. I like the clone troopers the most. I have the Sig 6 figures I want... not a completest because I am not sure how long this trend will go and the figures are tooooo expensive.

that reminds me I collect some of the lego bionicle figures. I prefer the villians but I only have one, but I will have more at some point.

My collection is pretty eclectic. I have some S6, some Marvel Legends, some Hellboy figures, one of the Sin City figures, a stuffed Cthulu, a Chuck D action figure, some of the Shadowun Duels figures (which are probably my favorite), and assorted others.

 Thanks Silencer! I borrowed some ideas for the A-Team figures from evilfaces customs.. it basically involved head swappin with some pre 85 figures. The A-team heads for 3 3/4 figs work on any Hasbro 3 3/4 figure that isn't swivel ball joint heads.. I also wanted to have the figures ready to play without going into alot of paintwork.. well I say alot.. I mean hardly any.. :o

I think they look great, Nem; Murdock's probably my favourite. The only Change I'd make would be to swap Face's legs to some blue ones, or Tunnel Rat's, to vary him from Murdock & Hannibal a bit - he always did wear the most regular-fashion-clothes of the group. It'd also be cool if you were able to get some tiny lengths of gold chain from a jeweller or craft shop or something, to go around BA's neck! :)

As well as the Marvel Legends collection, I also have some SW (Hasbro and Lego), a few of the modern Masters Of The Universe, a few Transformers (mostly Beast Wars, I think) and random toys from other lines. My main collection, though, probably moreso than GI Joe, is comicbooks (predominantly Marvel Universe) -- I've easily got over 10,000 and I'm still going...!

Same here, though I'm not sure I've cracked 10,000. It's possible though. I wonder how many a short box holds...

MP Prime, Preceptor, Classics Grimlock, Classics Hotrod, cybertron Soundwave & Lazerbeak, Soundbaster with Ravage & Buzzsaw, Classics Starscream, Cybertron Swindle, and Cybertron Starscream.

The insecticons live in a different area. Guess they don't like sharing their Energon cubes. ;)

I got purple Galvatron and Soundwave with ravage/lazerbeak coming in the mail.

Did you make those Energon cubes or buy them from a website? I know some sites sell them, but I thought the ones I'd seen were bigger than that.

Well, I bought reissue insecticons, those energon cubes came with them. They even fit in their little chest opennings.

Other than Joe (3.75" and Sigma-6), I have a complete Star Wars collection and some other smaller misc. lines, nothing major...

I do have a nice set of 3.75" figures from other lines, like Remco, Lanard, etc., that I think I am going to sell, would be nice for anyone doing dio-stories that needs some extra non-joe characters to stick in.

I'm not really into 'collecting' toylines as a serious hobby anymore. I do have a rather extensive comic book collection. I stopped counting when I got over 10k... :o
Of course, I have my G.I. Joe collection & my Star Wars figures. I also have the Franklin Mint original collection of plates for the SW galaxy. A bunch of McDonald's toys from over the years & some other 'this 'n' that's'. Now I find that I collect Cook Books as well-mmmm mmmmm mmmmmm mmmmmm good!!!

And music & movies.............but that goes without saying..........especially in this group!!! ;)
