First Image of the New Black HISS Appears on Ebay

I bet it will look even more amazing with the stickers applied.

Honestly I just can't get too excited about this thing. Brown, black, bleh, still a crappy tank.

With that said, I've seen customs made using it that are #1 and da best.

I don't like this Hiss design much, but it's nice to see Hasbro listen to the fans for once.

With the black one, I painted the canopy gloss black, the masked off the "windows" then painted the entire thing flat black and hit with some Dullcoat. It' hard to tell in this photo though. Kinda wish I'd done the same thing with the urban version, just to define where the "windows" are. Could still go back and do that if somebody has a set of decals for the windows that they don't want.

I really like the design but the original brown looked horrible. I can't imagine why they didn't go with traditional black right from the beginning.

As we all see in the Hasbro Diorama pics the Hiss is used in a desert theme. This is the reason for the brown. It matches the Desert vipers perfect. Im not a fan of that shade on the hiss either. The Black will be much better. we use to get the hiss in 3 colors. Hasbro takes one step forward 2 steps backwards. We are never gona get anywhere, lol.

I don't like the color of the Desert-Viper either. :p If they had made the HISS a tan/sand color I would have loved it. Except for Dusty, the desert stuff they're putting out doesn't seem to fit the environment.

There's a black and a green HISS pictured on the back of the box. Since they're doing the black now I'm hoping we get the green repaint in the future.
