Joe of the Week....

Ok, this is how it is going to play out. For the month of September, and hopefully moving forward after that, every Wednesday and Friday will focus on one GI Joe Character. How it will work is, on each date below, a character is profiled. That will be the character that we will all take pictures of and post that day. It will not matter which version of a character it is, even a custom if you like, but that character will be the main focus of the shot. The goal is to challenge us all to be as creative as possible and show off how we think of that character in our universe. ie, some people show off figures such as clutch as a ladies man, some have as a grease monkey machanic and some as a hot rodder. That is what I am thinking. Not just Duke in front of a flag but Duke leading a charge or giving a breafing depending on how you would use him or think of him in your Joeverse. Ok, so you ask, What days and what are the characters? Well here you go.

1 Falcon
3 Copperhead
8 Low-Light
10 Baroness
15 Recondo
17 Viper - 86 foot soildier viper, not any Viper.
22 Snow Job
24 Serpentor
29 Spirit

Please post these to the main photos section so that all will know were to look. Also, when posting put JOTW: (characters name) so that everyone knows the theme. Thank you and I hope we all have a bunch of fun with this. BTW, I tried to pick popular figures at first so that people with small collectons could still join in.

Oh wait, I do have Falcon, I'll try to get a cool shot today. I keep forgetting I have Falcon because I didn't buy him personally, one of my sister's friends was having a garage sale, and my sister brought him home one day.

I suppose it would just be too considerate to let other peoples photos actually have some time on the front page. Seeing the same poster over and over, with the same style take up 3/4 of the front page is ***yyyaaawwwnnn*** putting me to sleep. Not to mention seems a bit selfish and constantly in need of attention, just my opinion. :p

Even if you dont want to contribute, or don't have the figure of the week, atleast be considerate of those who are contributing to the cause.

ill have to get in on this..im a little behind..but ill do a falon and copperhead shot sometime today, ill have to pass on the lowlight however since i dont have him anymore :(.. this is a great idea and something i hope we can do every month

I randomly picked figures from some of the most popular ones that I thought most would have. Snow Job I thought would also give us some of the most challenge and we might see some really creative shots.
