Ok guys. As discussed recently we all pretty much feel that ratings are or have been abused in the past. Regardless of by who and where. The ratings cannot be imbedded into the comments and added to the users profile... this would take software work and its my understanding that Hammerfel cant afford to shell out.
So it's a possibility that by the time the poll finishes.. the ratings might be removed to benefit the forum and its contributors.
But lets sway back over to the possibility we could all rate the pictures. Ourself as long as we are leaving a comment.
How do we do this? Well its quite simple. I've uploaded 5 images all with numbered stars on. You can see them in the files section. I'd like members of this forum to take part in a trial run of the project to see if we can benefit from using them.

if visiting that photobucket album hover over the image and right click on the IMG code to grab it.. then paste this into your comments... alternatively..
visit the file section and copy and paste the Star ratings images to your HD for upload to your own photobucket account where you will be able to use in future comments.
From that point on, any picture you want to comment on, and rate as well you can include a copy of the choice of star you want to include along with the comment.
Just remember to copy and paste the IMG code to accompany the url from photobucket.. Like this.

I'd like to see a few of us use this as soon as possible.. I know it would mean that we would have to do a slight detour to photobucket for every star rating we left but it's an alternative i've thought of that might keep a group of us happy that liked the star ratings.
